  • @Squishedpimp: Who gives a single flying tri-cock hentai-demon tentacle-fuck about your "moral high ground"?

  • Sho Aikawa.

  • Comment removed

  • Anti yakuza dog !!!!

  • you'e got to be menatlly ill to like this shit

  • "If you were a child and rode on a bike to a place you've never been, you'd feel like it's real but not really real. Gozu is like that. You go to a place you've never been but you don't have to make any sense as to why or how you are there."

  • one of my favorite scenes

  • @TheBattlehills

Gozu 2003 - psycho goes berserk on cute lil doggie.

That was a crazy, WTF scene, but his unblinking stare tipped me off that something bad was gonna happen...

If u guys are interested, check out my take on the "Yazuka Attack Dog" :)

  • funny shit!!!!

  • "BETTER GET HIM BEFORE HE GETS YOU." That's always a great disclaimer to do something nutzo.

  • It seems Japanese movies in the early 2000s are using such shitty cameras..

  • @welcomegohome no its using handheld cameras on purpose, watch more movies

  • Ahahahahaha

  • HAHA I remember watching this in a theatre here in England. There were three other people in there besides me, and 2 of them left after the opening scene. It was part of an annual Asian cinema season hosted by Cineworld (only the second year running). The following year they cancelled it. Miike has that affect on people hahaha. Such a good film. Fuck the general public, always.

  • I don't think Takashi Miike likes dogs because the dog died in Audition

  • @anonymouswhore no fokking way!!! are u serious about that?

  • @ganiniii I think she(?) means during the course of the narrative... rather than died during filming.

  • goooood stuff.

  • Everything i'm about to tell you is a joke.

    Don't take it seriously.

    GREATEST DIALOGUE EVER!

  • great movie!! :)

  • Sho Aikawa's expression after killing the dog is just priceless.

  • so, japanese people are all the same?

  • pretty much -.-

  • It's a movie , CRAAAZY as cat shit.

    relax

  • @catCRAAAZY yeah.. nothing puts you on a better moral high ground than casual racism.

  • One of my top 5 films of all time.

    Brilliant.

  • Yeah, man, one of mine too.

    The ending is so beautiful..

  • beautiful

  • This movie is so random. I love it.

  • lol

  • I thought that doug was gonna rip him to shreds, I was so glad he took it out, it looked extremely vicious.

  • Sho Aikawa kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i second that =)

  • The best part in this movie is when the guy talks to the american lady and they read the cue cards together.

  • I want that beanie baby.

  • I love this movie <3

  • A simple lesson in how to make it obvious to everyone that you are not a guy to be fucked with.

  • also you can headbutt a cat to demonstrate how you hate communism...see the clip from movie 1800 titled how to battle communism...but this movie is waaaaaaayyy better

  • that is so insanely fucked up

and yet not even the most fucked up thing in that film either...

  • i remember going to the cinema asking the ticket guy what a good film to watch.....he told me to watch this....after the film i was questionning this film and thinking wtf...lol.......then i watch old boi...korean movie.....now the fooked up on sum whole new other level....lol

  • miike's work is so weird but still original he's pretty talented =)

  • OMG i lol'd so hard when he spins the dog around his head <_<

  • Gozu which means cow or cowhead in Japanese can only be understood if one reads Zen Buddhist mythology. The symbolism and the allegories are related to the bardo which is also related to Tibetan Buddhism as well. The soul is basically taking a journey through hell, purgatory and perdition similar to Dante's Inferno. The different characters along the way represent certain demons, gods and goddesses that one is constantly tested by before rebirth. Actually the story is similar to Orpheus.

  • heres a real fuck up , notice when he throws the dog against the window theres no blood.

yet it cuts to his face and blood is dripping clearly down the window.

  • I noticed but it was actually done on purpose...if u seen the film u should know...its meant to be surreal and to make you question fact and fantasy...

  • noluyo amına koyim !

  • LOOOOOOOL ALWAYS LOVIN' OZAKI, HE'S GREAT!! XD

"....get him before he gets you..." XD

  • ph33r dis@!!! You mess with him, he will kill someone else's dog!!

  • "It was hot, ya nyaooo"

  • I laughed so hard. But only because it was a Chihuahua.

  • hahaha..i gotta get 1 of those yakuza dog wutever...damn...funny shit..~

  • LOL

  • Good shit, good shit, ha ha ha ha haaaaa!

  • Yes, this is Dark humor.

  • it's a fake dog, you know...

  • I know that ^^ I just over exaggerate when I see any animal being mistreated in the movie cause I can't look at it.

I know it's fake, but it still gets to me.

  • Look Out Kujo

  • That was funny.

  • I take it he's a cat person.

  • LULZ

  • Omg, I love that scene. The movie itself is fucking hilarious, but this has got to be one of the best scenes. That and when he meets Gozu. I laughed til I cried. XDDDDDD

  • I laughed so hard first time I saw that... the scene with the spoons is damn funny too

  • genius

  • Damn it ! LOOOOOOOL

  • teh rest of this movie is pretty good too.

  • am I the only one who recognized that as a chihuahua?

  • wow... lol

  • This seen is so cool not just because they kill a dog but the way that it grips you. from when the guy says what im a bout to tell you is a joke, its really gripping and tense and the music when he wlaks out to kill the dog is weird lol. i want to see all miikes films but its hard cos im 14 and my mum isnt happy about all the sexual violence he puts in his films ive only seen doa 1 and 2, audition, hapiness of katakuris (which was shit)

  • am i the only person that found watchin dat funny?

  • I also found myself laughing. and I dont know if you've seen the whole film but there are lots of times that I found myself ammused yet confused.

  • nah i havent seen the film but i have seen a few of miikes's films before and thought they were good.

I like this clip cos they sort of joked about with the thought of killing the dog and then the other guy takes it real seriously and goes and does it! LMAO!

  • Sooo why does he kill the dog exactly? He tells the other guy in the white rob that everything he is going to tell him is a joke But HE himself goes & slams the dog! I DONT GET IT!

  • I saw it about a year ago. I loved it.

  • only miike could make somthin like this and it be freakin awesome. wiki the movie and look at the real meaning behind what mikke was tryin to say

  • lol this movie makes no sense ranks right up there with "Mulhullond Drive" and "Lost Highway" u guys should check those out too

  • Priceless. Unfortunately, this scene and the ending are the only scenes that, IMO, deserve ovation. I was not impressed with the half-human-half-cow character.

  • Great movie. I only saw half of it, but what I saw was really awesome.

  • haha.. thats crazy... i like this movie too, but i dont remember that part.. my favorite part is with the half cow half person thing.

  • what he says on 0:26 (good morning in jap is ohayo ) ... ,but he didnt said this..

  • Good morning in Japanese is actually "Ohayou gozaimasu," and I think what they're all saying is "Gozaimasu!"

  • You mean that you never shorten words?

You've never said, 'Morning' rather than say 'Good Morning'?

Hell, sometimes I even leave out the 'g' and say 'mornin'.

Maybe I'm a crazy rebel, but I'm pretty sure other people shorten words...even the Japanese.

  • I'm not sure what you're saying. But you can't shorten "Ohaiyou gozaimasu" to just "Ohaiyou" and have it still mean "Good morning" like in English. Japanese doesn't work that way. Their "Good morning" equivalent is an archaic little phrase that doesn't literally translate to the same thing in English.

  • I'm not talking about direct translation.

Anyway, Yakuza speak their own 'ghetto' dialect of Japanese. I guess it's kind of like when you get kids trying to speak like rappers. I have no idea what they're saying. It's like a mangled version of english.

  • haiyou???????? Motherf***er.

  • Just saying "Ohaiyou" on its own in Japanese just means "The morning", it's ambiguous. "Gozaimasu" on its own is a very respectful, polite declaration you can stick on the end of thankyous and greetings (and it might also be shortened to GOZU). I'm not a native speaker, just a student, so I could be wrong.

  • All I meant in my earlier post was that it sounds like they're saying the second half of "Ohaiyou gozaimasu". 5 months ago, I was surprised to hear them say "Gozaimasu" without "Ohaiyou" before it.

  • Poor fucking dog.

  • hahah gotta see this movie!!

  • So was he joking or not?

  • That is fucked up.

  • Thats....wow...Uhm, it's kind of a 'Man Bites Dog' sorta laugh, you feel bad after you do, but it's just so over the top...Jesus Christ!

  • Everything I'm about to tell you is a joke. Don't take it seriously

  • this is my favorite scene from gozu also. second is the 'birth' scene.

  • That poor little white puppy!

  • that IS the wierdest movie i've ever seen.

  • Just....damn. Added to my faves, tho' ^_^

  • One of the weirdest films i've seen.

The end is so crazy. An excellent end to the film.

  • pedazo pelicula xD

    buenisima :D

  • I purchased my copy of Gozu at Best Buy for roughly around 12 bucks.

  • you should put a clip of the two old guys in the resturant who keeps repeating themselves, this is one of my FAVORITE movies where did you get it? Or rather, where can I get it?
