Just got back from this. Nothing I expected happened, these finals blew up everyone who went and it was awesome.

Not just SF too, the MK9 ones and the Marvel ones...it was just one thing after another.

This was the EVO 2011 moment though, although Latif coming out of nowhere to represent even against Daigo was exceptional as well. Man, if the varied and new top three of this year isn't indication of how much things in this scene are shaking up i don't know what is.
