  • Africa ?

  • Today I heard on NPR that a two-bedroom apartment rental in Luanda, Angola cost $7000 a month. What the heck!!!!!! and how the hell does a country with a per capita income of $800 a year, yet 80% of its rental unit cost between $2500 to $7000 a month.

  • Facts: 95% of the population is illiterate; employment rate is nearly 47%, and most Angolan struggle to buy food staples, rice, beans and corns, pigs’ stomach, chicken guts, feet, and others cheap meats from Portugal. There is something fundamentally wrong with the leadership and real estate environment.

  • @strategies69

Thx for this. It makes no sense to me that Luanda is one of the most expensive cities in the world (the effing world!!!) when the masses can barely afford 'food'. *Fail

  • I visited Luanda and there is no special to speak of but pile of trash on the street, homeless and stress kids and rampant prostitutions. Luanda is your Typical corrupt third world country, despite its oil reserves, stealing oil money to fund this madness.

  • V-GARDENS Angola
