You don't understand theory very much. Pentatonic doesn't flow with this progression; map out a scale that fits.

Yeah, of course. It sounded negative, but I didn't mean it to be. If you're having trouble coming up with a solo, basically just take the root notes of the main chords of the song, and create a scale around those. Then you can just use your ears to hear what sounds right and wrong, and add some chromatic notes for a certain feel.

ah well if i were you i'd re record it all because it would be much better quality than what it is on the video there, for recording and stuff i use the program audacity, because its free lol, you have to download something extra to save files as mp3's but its worth it :)
