lol wow i always sang the intro for the show song but never remembered where i got i from now i remember....i love this show.... they need to put show like this and others on a channel... cuz some of these shows to day are bs......
I remember this show!!! The 90s has madd black shows that were good!! Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Living Single, Hangin Wit Mr. Cooper, Sister Sister, Wayans Brothers, Parenthood, A Different World, Smart Guy, Moesha, Jamie Foxx etc. Man, I miss those days!! I watched TV like my life depended on it beccause of these shows!! lol
Quincy Jones went on to become the Executive Producer of The Jenny Jones Show and he also became the Executive Producer of such hit shows like
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, In the House, Mad TV, VIBE and the 1997 film Steel Starring 4x NBA Champion Shaquille O'Neal
and also, he wrote the theme to TV Series such as Ironside Starring the late Raymond Burr, The Bill Cosby Show, Sanford & Son/Sanford and Now You See It w/Jack Narz and Chuck Henry.
This was the third season opener(in the 1996-97 season), after Debbie Allen left the series and LL Cool J was now the star. Alfonso Riberio(who was most noticible as his character of Carlton Banks from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air", but now as a different character) joined the series as well. Also, another change in this season was that the show was now on UPN(it was moved from NBC after it's first two seasons), and stayed on UPN until it's cancelation on August 11,1999.
Noticably, after the show was cancelled, it went into first-run syndication from 1999-2001. I remembered where I lived, they aired this on KTXL in Sacramento at 2 PM paired with "The Wayans Bros." when this aired in syndication.
You're right. And "In The House" had just made it to syndication after being on from 4 years.(Four years on television, or past is usualy when programs are good and/or long enough to make syndication.)
they still make decent shows but none give me the 90s feeling as the 90s shows do
