This is a neighborhood of beautiful and historical homes. If you want to see some more of the great neighborhoods of Detroit look at Rosedale Park, Palmer Park, Sherwood Forest and Indian Village. They are still very nice but unfortunately is in a city with high taxes and poor services.

I grew up on Edison and My Grandfather lives down the street on edison, My Greatgrandma lives on Chicago since the 20's. That shit is right off of Woodward, and thats where all the crackheads. You have to stay within thoes 20 blocks. poor white people

Boston-Edison (in Highland Park, not Detroit) is a gorgeous couple of blocks. But just go a block outside of it and you are in the ghetto! Just like Indian Village in Detroit, nice but go a block outside and your in the ghetto.

Smart, you'd get in on the ground floor and make a profit. that's why artist are flocking here from all over the world. You can get a 3 bdrm house with a basement, attic and garage for what it cost to rent a loft for a year in New York, Paris or London. With the exception of the bay/Berkley area, real artist don't even take California seriously. Southern Cali is soulless. Why rent when you can buy?...and acquire a little culture while you're at it.
