it's so ridiculous when an amateur tells another amateur to listen to a famous recording. Her trills and rhythm, the lightness .Argerich i one in a billion. Let's hope we can get less heaviness and less pedal or better sensitivity to clor and little touches of pedal. Teachers who know more and have experimented for years give us this . Anyway, good for you and I can't wait to hear your Rach Prelude.I played this a decade for my juries &i had no idea of the melodic line.
Great performance! The thing about the Scarlatti Sonatas is they look easy when you hear them being played by someone else, but they're really quite a challenge
I really like your interpretation. Kinda drifts way from the normal way people play this. Seems like you played it in a very careful, methodical and pondered way, while still preserving the soul of the piece.
very nice! how long have you been playing the piano, n how long did it take you to play this music? i'd really like to play this, but i dont think i can fo it. :C oh well. xxxkiss

Well done! Great!!!
For better understanding of Scarlatti I would recommend Pogorelich's recordings even more than Argerich. But you have done great work!

@MrMimimush Thanks for your comment, and ofcourse I am familiar with Argerich's recording for a long time :)
However her style is unique and I cannot come close to her lightness of touch, let alone speed of repetition...

Don't strain your arm and use your wrist at the proper "place on the beat" and will be perfect! :) It's not ballet!

now I know the fingering... thanks
i really like this...

my pleasure, though fingering is individual... and personally I choose sometimes weird ways of going over a passage :)
most of it is rather conventional though.
good luck!

It's good, but still far away from excellent. To slow, to carefully played.

Thanks, you're right - especially about being "too careful" :)
