Not bad for a rookie! I just started myself a few months ago and I'm 51... I may never become a "great" drummer - but I am sure having fun trying to learn! I ended up getting a Roland TD-4S set to practice quietly and not disturb the family. I still have and prefer my acoustic set. It is tough to play "loose" when you still have to "think" about what you are doing... When you've played a song enough times - it becomes easier due to muscle memory. Keep Rockin' !!!

The drum beat actually has a double kick in it.

Snare-Bass, Snare-Bass Bass. Try that out. But you've got it down for the most part. Also, look up whats called a flam. If I can remember correctly Phil Rudd uses a few of those in that song. Nice kit by the way.

Hey, i would just like to say, very well done for 4 months, its actually really good, ok you made a little hiccup at the start (i tend to tap the hihat before it starts), also you missed the little fill after the chorus, You also look really stiff, may just be how you play, but just jive a bit, to keep rhythm (well thats what i do, not sure about anyone else), and make it your own, dont play it exactly the same, add a couple of rolls or something where there isnt, but all in all very well done!

Once you play more and more you will start to learn how to listen to what your playing and play it back. Listen to the drums of the song carefully, you will notice that there will be a double bass.

It will go bass snare bass bass snare bass snare bass bass snare. Like that :)
