do u not visit the site it has been known for awhile that jedi shadows can tank, and are more saber oriented, it blows me away how you are telling some one who clearly knows what they are talking about and you have no clue how the class plays, think as consulars as more of a shaman with tanking abilities rather than a mage.

@THEOCRULES1 Consulars can't be ANY spec. They can be either Sages or Shadows. From there they can choose their class specs. Sages and Shadows are independent of one another and are not interchangeable. Shadow = Tank/DPS & Sage = Healer/DPS. You can't just choose to be a healer and then simply respec to be a tank. It's one or the other.

one thing i would like to see in swtor is that every character can either tank, dps or heal. that way you don't chose the character after the role the game wants, but more of what you want as a player, which is sooo much more satisfying

@TGN love your videos hengest, best commentary there is, but about the tank issue :P if u click on the class in when creating a new character, you can see the different roles in their advanced classes, and it actually says dps and tank, altough i can imagine it will be more like an offtank thingy or just spamming with a lot of parry etc instead of armor, what do i know :P

swotr is nothing like WoW, idk why you keep compairing them in terms of class and spec. nearly every class can tank, heal and dps. there are 2 paths each class can go down, one will usually have a tank and 2 dps trees, and the other would usually have a heal and 2 dps trees, your suppose to be showing us the game, not arguing about shit

Mirror class of the Consular? Inquisitor. Inquisitor can tank. SO.....COnsular can tank. The calsses have AC's, and each AC has 2 specs, the sage for consular has healing and ranged DPS. The shadow had meele DPS and TANKING.

That master you get is awful, after completing the questline I spoke to her 4 times and didn't give a crap about her. Didn't hate her, but just didn't feel like she was my master, more like a random NPC
