Very cool, I'm not a coder but I know a couple of concepts of programming since I learn some visual basic in the past, If I want to create some kind of game for iphone or android that is small and basic, I can do it using only this kind of stuff in the blender game engine? Good tutorial by the way.
@giovannyarce The Blender Game Engine doesn't run directly on iPhone or Android. There has been some talk in the community of developing a mobile version. Many Blender users developing games for mobile platforms use the Unity 3D engine, though it isn't Open Source.
@spencerdupre And sorry about the question. Coming back to Blender after a few years. I remember you can apply an object's data with CTRL+A, but I forgot why you're supposed to do that. Thanks!
Hi. Good feature! Bul I have a problem. I'm using official 2.61 blender version, and only the seek mode works, while pathfinding does nothing. What could be the problem?
can you make it follow another ai or maybe the player?

@giovannyarce On top of Unity not being open source, you need to pay big bucks to port a game to mobile.

This is very cool! Blender games can now have better AI. Did you code it in Python?

@Lydorn Nope, no python in this tutorial.

@Lell19862010 Did you make sure to put the navigation mesh's name in the appropriate text box of the Steering brick?
spencerdupre 2 months ago
@spencerdupre Don't know what was the problem (maybe I'd messed up something) but now works!
