  • Its multiple Flips!!!!!! not impact

  • @TheFunboy229 actually no. Impact as in wall, ground, sign, ect.

  • Why wouldnt there be a catch fence if there are wingless sprints running and the pits are outside of a corner?

  • hes a damn good driver

  • He's racing in the NASCAR Truck Series now. I met him. He's a good kid.

  • @thespainisharmada He races with Kasey Kahne Racing in Sprints

  • gawd! thank goodness for the hans device, from what I understand a major part of saving his life!

  • when did Opie start racing sprint cars .....lol good job worm

  • he's in the truck series now

  • @nascarsignore yeah he works alot with kasey kahne.

  • You are kidding, right? You are giving credit to the Hans Device for him walking away? I don't think so! Let's start with giving credit to his roll cage! He would have been a corpse wearing a Hans if the roll bars had failed. The Hans Device is way over-rated.

  • @gentryracing the hans device isn't overrated, I use one and it undoubtedly stopped me from suffering a pretty bad neck inury last year. I really can't believe there are still sceptics on this subject!

  • @monkeypoo1 Read what I said again. I was saying the Hans device isn't the only thing to credit with him walking away. I didn't say it was useless. I said the roll cage has more to do with surviving a crash like that than a Hans device. A Hans device protects your neck and head... the roll cage protects the PERSON when the car is flipping multiple times and going through the fence. Vehicle construction is your #1 protection in a crash. Everything else is secondary.

  • @monkeypoo1 Yes I agree. It's sad that Dale Sr's death brought about the Hans device rule in Nascar, but we need to remember that his roll cage was intact when he died. It's the whole system of today that enables the driver of today to walk away from virtually every crash; not just one device. I bet if someone else died of the same trauma 10 years ago, Earhardt Sr. would be wearing one today.

  • @fixitman21 I don't think he would have...JD McDuffie died at the Glen in 1990. Stan Smith almost died at Dega in '93 from a Basilar Skull Fracture. Earnhardt was a traditionalist to the death, he would have rather retired than wear one.

I would recommend them for anything past V8 Sprints (305 on up) where the peril is legitimate. It's not that important for things like Street Stock, Hornet, etc.

  • @DJprofessork72 I probably should have clarified. Had the HANS device been invented/developed 10 years prior, Dale would have been wearing one if NASCAR wanted the drivers wearing one. Dale was a hardcore traditionalist, but he was also in favor of promoting his sport and supporting NASCAR. Sure NASCAR has some stupid rules here and there, but if the drivers want to race in NASCAR, they HAVE to follow the rules, especially safety rules.

  • @gentryracing Tell that to Dale Earnhardt

  • This use to happen all the time at Winchester Speedway.... Sprint Cars have gone "out of the ballpark" numerous times on those hills...

  • nice video

  • my neighbor has the corner of the sign he hit hung up in his living room

  • Nice catch fence....

  • Hope you read this Brad! Hi from Jeff Brassfield. Glad you survived that one.

  • Ive known brad all my life. great driver indeed guys. at a very young age brad would wait at the pits of other drivers asking for the used tires they were just driving because he always said that the used tires were better than his tires that he normally had. Oh and by the way brad. nice race at chico the other day for the Dave Bradway memorial. u led an awesome 39 3-4 laps but the guy in second pushed a lil on the last turn and barely got you. nice racing man. good luck

  • the hans device has to be one of the most important motorsport safety devlopmensts for many years maybe they shoul work on a version for using in the road car

  • i got to se this guy at the usac banquet this year and i'm doing the .25 series now and i'm going racing tomarrow with my friends

  • Brad is a gasser for sure. I watched him get back to back wins in chico in the 55 sprint car, then just a just a few short years later back to back wins at Knoxville in a midget!

    He is awesome

  • I saw this young guy pass 14 cars on the first lap at Tulare in a 360....great driver and a class act

  • oh my god! Thats soo sad

  • Sweet Sensation! He's better in a midget.
