  • get the lights on ebay $10.00 dls do it your self i can teach you how if you still interested i just did it my 92 es300

  • right on the money jwadehouston. same thing i was told. engine runs forever as long as u change oil every 2500 to 3000 miles.

  • Thats a special moment.

mine has 152 k right now.

  • thats a toyota for you! * for those that dont know lexus is a sub of Toyota....

  • I would really like to have the IS-300. Lexus has done thier homework. Over BMW or Merc... Mercedes is a joke now. I'd rather stick with Lexus because of their stamina and low costs on repairs in the long run...

  • why do you say mercedes is a joke? I have heard some stories but I was wondering if someone could tell me why they think this way....?

  • Yes, the ES300 engine is a very calibrated engine design from Japan. Keep the oil changed and will run forever. I have 120K on mine and is running like new even with boost option that lexus added. I still outrun the new Dodge and Ford pickup trucks here on county roads. This engine was desigend for low end tork and has some horse power when it is selected to ejection boost. The gas economy goes down but is quite a little sportster on the red light to go.... Keep up with the oil changes...

  • haha nice one and that one mile seem long haha i just got mine to 100+ still a bit off urs but it will sooner or later =]

  • cool
