There are artifacts that you can collect. like Maria's feather box, Ezio's belt and cape, Claudia's book, and Mario's Sword. On PS3 you get a trophy for collecting at least one, not sure about on Xbox though.

@Mystro1989 Not true, I don't know when it lets you, but at some point in the game you're allowed to access everyone's e-mail when before so you can only access your own. I've seen all e-mails accessible on both Xbox and PS3 version, I just don't know how or when it happens
