That's at Dallas. It is sad to see the empty stands there, definately. But overall, MLS gets pretty decent attendance. And Montero plays at Qwest Field, which is sold out every week. In fact, the Sounders are in the top 30 in the world in attendance, surpassing most teams in bigger leagues like EPL and La Liga.

@stang1973 we've sold out every game in the past two years. In our first season (last year), we ranked in the top 50 of all football clubs worldwide for attendance.. soccer is popular in some parts of the US!

the good thing bout montero is that he has shown a pretty strong lvl of consistance since goal1 vs nyrb last yr so i think europe will def. get interested in him

I bareley even noticed him against Dallas until the free kick. Oh and the rediculous try at chipping the keep. as a sounder fan though i wouldn't mind seeing him shipped off. I want work ethic every game, and Montero lacks this.

I've been following Fredy Montero's progress for a while now and I am prepared to say he can definetly make it in the major European leagues. He would have to raise his overall game but in the end quality shines through.

freddy montero doesnt deserve better than the MLS. the sounders deserve a better striker. that kid is not gonna see the EPL until he learns to PASS THE BALL to his teammates instead of trying to beat every player on the field and losing the ball

@MSEAMP3 @alpenglowRG11Dude physicality is not always necessary especially when like Montero a player has other attributes such as; pace, acceleration, good shots, technical skills, etc.

If you look at players like Luka Modric, Hleb, Ashley Young these are all players of small frame and little physical strength or presence, yet have consistently performed in the EPL which is probably the most physical League out there.

@ThemAdamBlacks pace and acceleration? who are you watching? all he has is a wicked shot, and SOMETIMES great passing ability. He really lacks positional sense and just needs to be smarter on the ball. yah, don't know where your getting pace and acceleration though. I've never seen him burst past a defender, and i've seen every game.
