@Boogley1986 Don't beat your self up.. My mom was my world, I would have traded places with her if I could of. People say to me "get over it" I can't do that. I do cherish the memories I did get to share with her in the hospital, it is crazy how much I miss feeding her. I feel like I let her down, she had to get her heart valve replaced, and she said to me, "barb i'm not going to wake up"I told her if she didnt get the surg she would die, and promised she would wake up..that kills me.

@Boogley1986 When she got out of surg they told us she was sedated and here they didn't give her anything. Her room was filled with machines to keep her alive I could barley walk into the room, It got down to them telling me to turn the machines off, I couldn't do it. She just turned 43! I am very sorry you lost someone, but i'm sure your grandma knew you didn't hate her. I understand what you are going thru, you have a friend if you need one! Hope you are doing well.

This sounds like my story...its the deepest pain i have ever expierenced....you always think your mom (or dad) are the ones who have failed you... when my mom died it became apparent that i was foolish and will regret it for ever. despite her flaws and reckless ways she problem was and will be the only one who i knew (despite the drama between us) that at the start of the day and end of the day she was there for me.
