I can see myself in front of the stage and hear myself during Dance of the Manatee. I think I met you that night. Cliff was at the table selling shit all night before they went on, incredibly nice. He signed my copy of Inter. Funda. Stifle. and I asked if he could get Darroh and the rest to sign it and he just said go around to the back and say Cliff sent you and I met the rest of the band and talked to Darroh and the singer from The House Harkonnen for almost an hour. Great guys.
@AnewKINDofFEELIN I went to see FTM live recently, I was the only one in the car who actually knew who they were. By the time the concert was over, not a single one of them wasn't a fan.
Actually, that was the original outro for "Walls of Jericho". It's on their independent album Inter. Funda. Stifle. They do that intro at the end when they do it live as well.
I kinda hate you since you got to meet all of them...I've been to every single show they've ever played here in Minnesota and I've only met Cliff and Jon. And thats 7 times ive seen them live...
hey man, im new to fair to midland... sounds like they got some great material and sound hella tight from the vid. what album do u recommend i get first? ive got a real open mind and enjoy just about everything that comes across my ears haha. give me your thoughts, will ya?
Fables from a Mayfly is their first major label release, and the one that's more easily available. Their second CD, Inter. Funda. Stifle., was reissued but it's in limited quantity. As for their first record, their's no way in hell you'll find one. At least not easily or cheaply. :D GET FABLES FIRST! HAPPY HUNTING!.
Not luck so much. I've been listening to them since right before they released Carbon Copy. Probably around 2000 or 2001. They played here a few times in some hole in the wall clubs
these dudes are awesome and chill people i remember seein them about 2 years ago when the came to ventura opening for chevelle with tyler read..awesome times.

Dude, I couldn't convince a single friend to go with me to that show. Now I have 3 friends who admit they screwed up. I hope they come back.

Their stage presence is incredible. It's like watching Jim Morrison on stage if he were in a metal band.

It's the opening to a song called "The Walls of Jericho." It's not on the album though, they only do it live.
