  • Whoa! Cool me off ... Peggy Lee was easiest the sexiest singer of the 50s.

  • So much Billie Holiday in there!

  • This is Frankie Lymon's SONG...SHE DID NOT WRITE THIS..

  • @kendra0121 Just because you are familiar with Frankie's popular version, that doesn't mean that it's "his" song. If it is anybody's song, then it is of course Johnny Mercer's and Matty Malneck's song, since they co-wrote it. It's a standard: dozens and dozens of people have recorded it since the 1935, including Johnny himself. :)

  • Love me some Peggy Lee . Chicago had a cd called Night & Day, and this song is on it..by far the best I've heard.

  • Never heard this song before but it was sung so perfectly by Peggy Lee.

  • This is a Frankie Lymon song.

  • I think this is an old Johnny Mercer penned song. I have heard other versions including Mercer with a female part sung. that is my favorite version. But I like Peggy here as well.

  • Goody, Goody for me...for listening to this song. Thanks for sharing good music.

  • Dat....isss....deerr....BIZZZZNESSS!

And you think that love's a barrel of dynamite

Hooray and hallelujah, you had it coming to y'a

Goody goody for him, goody goody for me

I hope your satisfied you rascal you,

  • So you met someone who set you back on your heels - goody, goody

So you met someone and now you know how it feels - goody, goody

You gave him your heart too, just as I gave mine to you

And he broke it in little pieces, now how do you do
