I had a cowfish like this one for 11 years. His name was Ira. He used to come to the top of the tank and spit water like this when he wanted attention. He was the most sociable fish I ever had, always watching what people were doing.

I saw a couple of cowfish (a male and a female) doing an amazing dance at the water's surface in Bass Strait. They were the coolest looking fish i'd ever seen!

Dont know why but my cowfish keep dying, but the poison never killed the other fish. i think it being poisonus is a myth because the last one that died, we fried it and ate it and it did not do us any harm.

Boxfish have such a great personality. It's a damn shame they are so poisonous if they die and a bitch to keep for the most part. Gotta love how they act.
