  • I love her, so funny. She's lost so much weight, I am proud!!

  • @sweetypie000: It's not dementia, it's bipolar, and it's a medical condition. It's frightening and debilitating and stigmatized, and many, many people with the condition self-medicate with drugs and alcohol. Shame on you for perpetrating a very outdated misconception that people diagnosed with mental illness are just making up their (actually legitimate, well-documented) illness.

  • @purpledanube Thank you for your comment. It was an excellent response to a shameful, misguided remark. Instead of just reading it and clicking the thumb's down button, you stood up to an uneducated person and helped protect a wonderful, talented woman's reputation. Please know that it is highly appreciated and that you did a wonderful thing in writing this.

  • Omg, it looked like she hit her head pretty hard! Lol!

  • Imo the woman deserved a good hard slap as a child and even today.

She blames her own failings of repeated indulgence on 'mental illness'. Shame on her.

She's the kind of being that in the future will continually fake dementia in the hope that people think she's forgotten all that happened in the past.

Appears to me she's always lead a self-inflicted, selfish, attention seeking 'better than thou' life. A taker.

She has abused the lifesyle that was gifted upon her that others will never have

  • @sweetypie000 Carrie Fisher is delightfully entertaining woman and she has had a difficult, complicated life. She does not deserve an ignorant comment like yours. As purpledantube wrote, she does not not have dementia. She has bipolar disease. It is very real and very unfortunate. Why anyone would want to fake severe depression is beyond me. I myself am not bipolar, but I have suffered from depression, which is extremely unpleasant. Severe depression is a major part of bipolar disorder.

  • @sweetypie000 (ctnd.) Moreover, Carrie Fisher's lifestyle was not simply given to her. She had to work to get it. You seem like one of those people who don't consider acting work because it is glamorous. I act, and it is ridiculous notion. Acting is work. In order to be successful, you need to be talented, put time and effort into it, and often work as a waitress or other low-paying job. Enjoying the work that you do doesn't mean that it isn't work. Carrie had to work to get that lifestyle.

  • @TheLadyWhoLunches she had to work for nothing, she got her acting jobs because her mum is debbie reynolds and had more money than you can poke a stick at. debbie is a good actor, carrie isn't

    do the math.

"you need to be talented, put time and effort into it, and often work as a waitress or other low-paying job." something carrie fisher never did and didn't have too. She's had a gifted and charmed life that she's pissed up the wall, period

    :)

  • @sweetypie000 I know that she got her start because of her mother. That's no different from a father handing his business down to his son. Just as the son can drive the business into the ground, Carrie's acting career would have gone down the tubes if she wasn't good at it.

  • @sweetypie000 (ctnd.) The part of my response that you quoted was a reference to actors in general. That's why I wrote "OFTEN work as a waitress" - some people don't have to do that. This was the case of Carrie Fisher. That doesn't change the fact that she put time and effort into it, or that she was talented. She's been acting for over thirty-five years. You can't be that successful without talent.

  • @sweetypie000 @sweetypie000 (cntd.) I want to add that you might already be aware that acting is work. If this is a case, I apologize for my rant, but you surely must admit that she did, therefore, work to get her lifestyle. purpledantube's comment covers the rest of what you wrote, so there's nothing else to say to you.

  • Princess Leia is a psycho!

  • btw still gorgeous!

  • Love you Carrie! Great actress and writer!

  • that was funny--but she should have just said that from her own mouth and not had help. but still funny words.

  • @megalisstudio I can guarantee you she wrote those cue cards. I'm sure she didn't have enough time to sit a memorize 2 minutes of witticism.

  • She has turned in the person she hates the most, Debbie Reynolds...

  • i fricken love her deliveries. they're so cool and calm, like what she's saying is completely everyday. it just makes everything she does say funnier. i only have love for carrie.

  • im not being sarcastic when i say that carrie fisher is hot. my friends scoffed when i said it but it's a fact. i hope to get my hands on a copy of wishful drinking for the plane ride. how did you all like it?

  • can't be that hot when you're nineteen and then get ugly. I was only five but I knew there was something I needed to do to her ...

  • @Nautilus1972 She's not ugly, she's...experienced. If you'd been through what she has, you might not look half as good.

That said, it's a far cry from Return of the Jedi ;)

  • Thanks for uploading this. Hilarious! Love the ending!

  • Seriously with the cue cards. Please!

  • Id still bang princess leia

  • LMFAO- She's brilliant.

  • Should I laugh, cry, or be afraid - Carrie sounds like the Joker (jack) in Batman. I think I'll read the book.

  • I hope this comes near me. Just read the book, and it's my new favorite.

  • She's brilliant, and helping a lot of people through her honesty. I wish her show would come to my area.

  • the show was flawless. she's one of a kind and f__n' hilarious!

  • Ha! very funny ad. I'd love to have seen the show.

  • Gosh, how's reading from the cue cards going for you, Carrie?? I still love her and would love to see the show.

  • @kendobbie73 She doing exceptionally well, considering the obviously poor placement of them, LOL.

  • I pray to whatever diety there is that she brings this show on tour!!!! I would die to see it but I'm in Michigan.. :(

  • I LOVE U CARRIE!

  • i saw the show a couple weeks ago - very funny! carrie fisher has a fantastic delivery style and a wicked wit. i highly recommend seeing it!
