You should make an instructional video on how you get that drum sound. What drums you use, how you mic them, what mic, any effects you run. Anything. Just however you get that sound, I'd love to know. They just have such a distinct crispness and warmth to them. I can't describe it very well, I just know that everything you drum on has THAT sound to it, and it's SOOOOOO good.

God I love living today! I mean, what on earth do I call this? I don't know, and I don't care, it's just good. And you can sit in your bedroom and create all of these crazy sounds and arrange them on your computer and beam them into my bedroom where they blow my mind. Then the video finishes and I open up my itunes and can listen to anything from Frank Sinatra to Animal Collective to Gershwin to Neutral Milk Hotel. What a wondrous time we live in!
