Such a powerful song. Really engrosses you in the world, gives you the feeling that you are there. A once legendary city of peace and tranquility. N ow turned into a desolate shell of it's former self.

We're really missing amazing music like this from games nowadays, therefore we appreciate it to a greater level when we find a truly great song.

all of these abandonded chozo facilitys throughout the metroid games makes you think.....WTF HAPPENED!? samus was raised by the chozo and they suddenly vanish lol, really raises some questions like did something kill them all or are the chozo like some sort of super ninja bird race....i mean theres hints about what happened to them that points to what may be a conclusion but it's really just a wild guess for now...

This music was truly a video game masterpiece, but since Metroid is so far advanced into the future, why is there all this archaeic vocal music! I mean one would think that since the Chozo could make ships and powersuits, then why not instruments, but I really truly love this song..

@Mandarshian2 I imagine that, having complete mastery over their environment, the Chozo turned to artistic pursuits to fill their time. I'm sure that they were quite capable of accurately reproducing vocals, but there were still some individuals that wanted to learn to sing.

I haven't yet played all the way through prime 3 yet so I should probably refrain from final judgment, but I have beat Prime 1 and Prime 2, and I am -very- tempted to say that Sky Town is my favorite music in the entire series (and that would include the NES and SNES entries as well) Great Stuff! Very etherial, and beautiful, and the scenery to go along with it really adds to the package as well. It is beautiful as well. (This is not ICYTR posting, but her husband who's too lazy to sign up.) :)

Whats Great about Elysia is that its Steampunk.

That's the idea: even though it was supposed to be this technological paradise, it has an old-fashioned feel. You get a sense of history from it, you know? And that's part of what steampunk is about. Also steam powered robots. They are steampunk as well.

when i first saw skytown it was eye catching. the music was unbelievable and the senery amazing. this place and Phendrana Drifts from mp1 are my favorite. i love to just walk around skytown using the floating glitch and taking snapshots.

Hauntingly beautiful, and evocative of the technological splendor of the Chozo. Easily one of the best tracks from all three games. I just wish you could see this area when it was in its heyday, rather than when it is falling apart :P

@QuasarEE I know, just to think of it it makes my hair to go up. All the 3 Metroid Prime games have splendid audio track. When you step in Sky Town for the first time all you can do is look down and to the horizon, WOW what a place! Then you know you will have some epic puzzles/adventure ahead just because this song gives this feeling.

@QuasarEE the first time i heard this on my ipod i was in the mountains the sunshine i was just like Relaxed and calmed but then I took some thing out of my hand, i took out my Best freinds Dogtag and then i said to myself "It will be ok...it will for now I can't wait to be in the sky town Juan is in, i cant wait (then the music stopped at 3:24)"
