I mean, why was Mecha Mario Created? 2 Reasons. 1 To destroy mario because bowser hates him and wanted to destroy him like in the other 10-20 games they made back 5-15 years ago. 2. Mecha Mario Might be able to stop Mecha Sonic since eggman's robot A.K.A. Mecha sonic wasnt following orders. This matches the real Mario more then his mecha counterpart. Its a style fit for the hero (Mario) and not the villan (Mecha Mario). Its too angry and uplifting for Mecha Mario, and is better suited for Mario himself. I hope you understand :3
