you can see more identical letters like lower case o's in the words "Mother" and "of" as well as some upper case M's in separate appearances of M. unfortunately, i've yet to find any complete words that identically match up. so it couldn't have simply been copy/paste of entire words. could an explanation be that because the supposed original was scanned, then optimized, that letters (that produces variances in color, definition etc...) when tuned could then look identical?

Another scanned copy of Obama's birth certificate exists. It is the AP copy. It is much clearer than the Whitehouse copy. Check the typefaces there.

The problem with the WH copy is the Document > Optimize scanned document command in Acrobat Pro. It created the layers and distorted the letters that others attribute to forgery. This command is used to save disk space. You may check this for yourself.

When using a "typewriter" no letter or number will be exactly the same because of slight variances in the way you strike a key or even the position of the ribbon and the ink on the ribbon in that section (which was the roll kind that would keep winding). Only modern computer type would be identical in pixelation for letters and numbers.

That is text that is altered by the Optimize PDF function of Acrobat, not from the original document. If anything, you've shown Adobe that their software works correctly.

And to get down to 25 pixels difference, that's only 2.5 std deviations which is about 1/200 odds. Since there are 181 possible character matches (for capital letters) it is actually about what you would expect to see one or two characters match. Also, you see many pixel for pixel matches on the non-typed text, such as the "N" in "Name of..." and the 1s on the "151".

In fact the "B" is *not* the only character that matches pixel for pixel. If you look at the first "I" in HUSSEIN and the second I in "II" on the first line these "I"s also match pixel for pixel. In fact I checked every capital letter against every other one (A total of 181 potential char-2-char comparisons). What I found was an average of 59 pixels difference

How is it that the stamp on the bottom clearly has H's and T's that are reproduced exactly multiple times, but many are clearly unique? I discovered this looking at the TXE mistake. I tried this out myself, and it obsolutely works. The B's are identical. This is the nail in the coffin. There is no doubt that the document is fake. What's more, the pixels in all of the letters are SMALLER than the pixels in the background! This is an impossibility if the document was scanned! They would have all been the same size! When people downloaded the PDF file from the White House and opened it in Adobe Illustrator, the document is broken into layers. Unfortunately, it led some to believe that this latest birth certificate is a fake. Out of curiosity, I scanned in my birth certificate & optimized the PDF. When I opened that file in Adobe Illustrator it revealed layers similar to the one in the latest Obama birth certificate. Unless someone has additional evidence, the latest claim of forgery appears to be debunked.

I had taken a screen cap of the certificate, rather than downloading the .pdf. When I downloaded the .pdf, I got the same results as Truthseeker. I've seen articles, though, where forensic experts weigh in and say that this sort of identical character thing can happen when you scan something, and the scanner has character recognition software, fwiw. Still, he was right.

I think the scanning software they used had character recognition, which meant that it slightly reformed the characters shapes when it identified them. That's my guess. If you were to scan a typewritten document, there will be inconsistencies and differences in each letter. The ink from the typewriter ribbon that originally typed the document creates inconsistencies then once it is scanned, it will introduce further inconsistencies. its impossible to get two letters exact 1000% zoom in shows letters B and U as identical. How??

Identical pixel locations are statistically inevitable. If you scan enough characters and force a pixel to be on or off... eventually you will create identical representations... the lower the res, the more likely... for example, if you were to force all characters to be represented by only one pixel, then they would ALL match. The pixel resolution being examined here is rather low. We should expect matches

In the letter from the Health Director of Hawaii, Dated 4-25, L.J.Fuddy states:

"Enclosed please find two certified copies of your original Certificate of Live Birth."

This seems to indicate that hard copies were sent.

One might ask, where is the embossed seal of certification?

Or were digital copies sent?
