Wow! I first learned how to play Blackbird in 1968 right after the White Album was released. My best friend was a guitar teacher and figured it out right away. For the last 40 years it has been my signature piece. I always play it when I want to impress someone. However, what I was playing did not match what I heard on the record, but Icould not figure out how to play it properly. This guy has the letter perfect correct way of playing Blackbird. nsjohhy, I love you, Thanks so much.

its from a dvd name best of lenon & mc cartney for acoustic guitar , the guy's name is eddie dubrock. It's a little hard for beginners but with practice you can do very well. I've buy it from amazon, the critics are awfull and i don't know why cause its great quality. I recommand it for every beatles fan :)

That finger strumming technique at the 10 12 fingering is prone to making your fingernails crack or snap. It's easier and more accurate to play the notes individually. Paul MCarthy used to do that and he complained about his finger snapping off!
