To try and help answer your question, Marit Larsen is this girl you see above. She used to be blond actually. Marion Raven is her best friend and her former partner of what was once known as M2M. So they are not one in the same, they are actually two different people who both went from a duet with each other, to a couple of solos.

To try and answer your question, they were once a duet called M2M. It's kind of a long story, but I'll try and make it brief. Basically, after a short time, (compared to most) their original record dealer wasn't satisfied so the ORD fired them both... only to hire one of them for a solo. Marion Raven took this deal. Merit stated that it was ok and that she would just finish school before looking for a new record to sign.
