@tommywm24 I don't know if it happens every time, but he probably switches because the second guitar is tuned different;y. From the looks of it he used an effect pedal to loop the main riff in the beginning with the first guitar, and then played the rest of the song with the other guitar that might be tuned differently.

well musicians usually switch for a different sounding guitar or tuned differently..but he switches to another telecaster so im guessing the other went out of tune or he broke a string... you can see him look over to the guitar tech...but if thats not it i got nothing lol

can someone confirm for me that the guitar riff in the transition at 1:30 was played by jonny right before and then looped? just a little technicality because the first time i watched this i thought it was a backing track and was alittle disappointed.

@danielinsporto I didn't really hear what you were talking about, but I'm fairly sure there's a heavy backing track in this song - if you listen to the intro you can tell there are two guitar lines playing - the real one being the higher one and the lower one being the backing track (unless there's a guitar pedal for this?); plus, there's a lot of string and synthesizer happening.

Hey sorry just realised i hadnt responded to Missingartisname. The font is called Daniel, its a free font you should be able to find easily enough. I used it because it was similar to the hand writing on the coldplay website.
