A friend introduced me to Laibach in 1994 with the song "Gubert Einen Nation" (Queen's "One Vision"). That's the only song I knew by Laibach all through the years until now. @dilltop Hja, to je ena izmed hipotez, katero se sicer zelo težko dokaže. V bistvu sploh ni nikjer nobenega dokaza, razen psevdo-lingivističnih primerjav.
Ne vem kdo se je kdaj kam preselil, najbrž niti tega nobeden natančno ne ve, toda Slovenci smo na splošno skupek več etničnih oz. kulturnih skupin, kot vsak drug evropski narod.
Dejstvo pa ostaja, drugi slovaski narodi, za katere je dokumentirana selitev, imajo pač preveč soroden jezik, da bi bili mi kaj izrazito posebnega. Razen v primeru, da so se le ti sproti mešali z nami.

@Minardil13 Right. Pan-Slavism was an utopia. It was created in middle of XIX century by Czechs in Austrian Empire. Russia seamed good alternative from this perspective. In this time part of the Poland was under Russian occupation so Poles knew the knowledge of the word: "Forced russification" very well. Russia was terrible alternative for us. The liberty of Austria-Hungary monarchy was much better choice. Russia also forced orthodox religion for all Slavs, which also was not acceptable.

It was quite mystic idea to conquer place of birth of the Orthodox religion. As for Pilsudski - I never heard about such a dream :-) He only dreamed about independent Poland. White Russians conception was Russia from Vistula to Vladivostok (except Wrangler, who was more realistic), so there was no place to cooperation.
There is nothing wrong with the Slovenian flag being in the video. After all, the version of "Hey Slavs!" in the song is the Slovenian version. And, he does say that these words are for Poland, and "for my homeland". His homeland is Slovenia, of course, as Laibach are a Slovenian band.

Why am I a capitalist, because I was born in a capitalist nation? Socialist here. There are plenty of us. Although I hardly think that capitalism or communism are successful in practice. Neither provide what they promise. As a concept both are worthy, and you might think one is better simply, because you are used to it being that way.
Socialism - a system that allows everyone to be equally poor.
Capitalism - a system that gives opportunity for the poor to make the rich richer.
Both are ossified and failed ideologies of a failed global civilization. And by failed i mean in terms of the value and happiness of life of humans and other species. I think history (agriculture and collectivization) is humanity's greatest mistake. We took a wrong turn 10,000 years ago when we left hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Laissez-faire means nothing, it's ideas in form of small business have been present in all known economical systems(slavery, feudalism, capitalism), and some elements even in socialism. A friend introduced me to Laibach in 1994 with the song "Gubert Einen Nation" (Queen's "One Vision"). That's the only song I knew by Laibach all through the years until now. This is good music, and I'm looking forward to hearing alot more! Thank you! We don't get to hear music like this on the radio in the United Corporate State of America.

Smo celo 17% barantaških Feničanov(verjetno je to pojasnilo, zakaj je trgovstvo v Slo glavni biznis). Mogoče bi tudi lahko postavili tudi kip Hanibala. Celo 5 % židovke krvi se najde.
Ni mi pa jasno v čem je razlika med tistimi 30% Tevtoni in 3% preostanka Vandalov.

Ne vem kdo se je kdaj kam preselil, najbrž niti tega nobeden natančno ne ve, toda Slovenci smo na splošno skupek več etničnih oz. kulturnih skupin, kot vsak drug evropski narod.
Dejstvo pa ostaja, drugi slovaski narodi, za katere je dokumentirana selitev, imajo pač preveč soroden jezik, da bi bili mi kaj izrazito posebnega. Razen v primeru, da so se le ti sproti mešali z nami.

@Minardil13 Right. Pan-Slavism was an utopia. It was created in middle of XIX century by Czechs in Austrian Empire. Russia seamed good alternative from this perspective. In this time part of the Poland was under Russian occupation so Poles knew the knowledge of the word: "Forced russification" very well. Russia was terrible alternative for us. The liberty of Austria-Hungary monarchy was much better choice. Russia also forced orthodox religion for all Slavs, which also was not acceptable.

@Minardil13 Russian Imperial army helped to create Serbia and Bulgaria, because Tsars always wanted to weaken Turkey and dominate over Balkans. They also wanted Constantinople. It was quite mystic idea to conquer place of birth of the Orthodox religion. As for Pilsudski - I never heard about such a dream :-) He only dreamed about independent Poland. White Russians conception was Russia from Vistula to Vladivostok (except Wrangler, who was more realistic), so there was no place to cooperation.

Why am I a capitalist, because I was born in a capitalist nation? Socialist here. There are plenty of us. Although I hardly think that capitalism or communism are successful in practice. Neither provide what they promise. As a concept both are worthy, and you might think one is better simply, because you are used to it being that way.

Socialism - a system that allows everyone to be equally poor.
Capitalism - a system that gives opportunity for the poor to make the rich richer.
Both are ossified and failed ideologies of a failed global civilization. And by failed i mean in terms of the value and happiness of life of humans and other species. I think history (agriculture and collectivization) is humanity's greatest mistake. We took a wrong turn 10,000 years ago when we left hunter-gatherer lifestyle.

Well I certainly understand why you would say that, but I have to disagree with you. I really think that socialism is the way to go. Although there are a few different definitions of that word. So take your pick.
Put loosely socialism just says that the citizens should own and reap the benefits of business.
Here in the US the corporations own us. I might as well have a bar-code.
Just because a system is corrupt doesn't make the idea bad. People will exploit anything they can.

The point was that just, because something is corrupted doesn't mean it was a bad idea. That's all. When anything is corrupt it's broken, and you can't fairly assess it on those grounds.
Anyway which countries and what form of socialism are you referring to? I already gave you my definition. It's so difficult to talk about politics, because it's all about semantics. Same with religion.

@Sleepy1988 Tell me in which year do you live. Currently there are no socialist countries in Europe. Laissez-faire means nothing, it's ideas in form of small business have been present in all known economical systems(slavery, feudalism, capitalism), and some elements even in socialism. However small business cannot be form of any economical system.
But basically few words can describes laissez-faire ; slavery for the poor and freedom for the slavers.

macedonians from FYRM are Slavs,and have nothing to do with ancient greek macedionia.
It should be fair to divide macedonia .60 % to Bulgraia, 10% to serbia, 10 % to greece, and 20 % to albania.

And for you 17gaian17; with all due respeect but if the ancient macedonians wer such a great nation as u claim, how come that the Greeks managed to conquer their territory together with the 'stupid' Slavs. There was no 'great' ancient Macedonia, there was only a Macedonian tribe on the northern border of ancient Greece.
