@mujkocka lolol its not different language, its a different accent. its like hows alexander skarsgard did interviews in a southern accent during straw dogs but switched back to his regular speaking voice when he was finished filming. and american is not a language.

Never watch a series that FUCKS, ... er, excuse me, FOX makes. You'll waste your time, because your investment of X hours will be wasted when they cancel the show the second it's started airing, if it doesnt hit the ground running with 20 million viewers even though the show hasnt had a chance in hell of getting into gear with 3 episodes aired.

He went to a high school that I drive pass everyday - when I'm at my school the high school is right across the street.

Nicholai is a good actor, and I'm definetly gonna watch new amsterdam. I think his accent is very funny, he has some weird Texan moments when he talks, but at least he's not speaking "danish-english" cus that is unbearable!

Danish and Dutch is very much alike somehow, not for someone from Denmark or the Netherlands maybe, but for other people...

And bla bla bla...yes he is danish. Coming from a fellow Dane, it is pretty cool for us to see him in an American tv show, but don't start dancing on tables, the show got cancelled!

Dutch and Danish is pretty close, although he struggles a bit with the words. The Dutch sentences needs their g's pronounced correctly, although his Johann van der Zee was...perfect! But, one can allow some leeway since he hadn't lived in the Netherlands for...400 years ;) I love this show and Nikolaj is yummy. I loved him in My Name is Modesty

lol thats exactly like me. i like all those shows too but they were cancelled. blood ties had at least 20-something episodes. moonlight only had 16, and new amsterdam half of that!!
