HTC Hero and Sense UI

I own one, bought after the rom upgrade of 09/2009, the speed of the phone is good, nice software, medium in camera, but people say there's going to have android 21 with sense 2, optimizing camera software.

Unfortunately i own two of them. Don't buy it. Camera is horrible, no flash, crappy lens. Bad flash support. Overall very sluggish. Many unlogical programmings in it's contact/messaging system.

_ Vocal command to call a number like the iphone ?

_Possibility to download applications ?

_ Possibility to change the qwerty keyboard into azerty one

hey i have a question- ive watched a couple of these reviews and most are saying its not 3g or 3g+ but on the telus site it says its 3g+ so is it or not

if you buy a telus version of the hero and unlock it, you can use it on anynetwork and have 3g :D i am gonna do that! i bought the european version and now im gonna sell that and get the telus one!

One thing that he kept on saying thats wrong is that this isnt a google phone, this is an htc android phone made from the people in Taiiwan and here in the US and the Hero most likely isnt going to come out to tmobile engadget is saying it might come out for at&t and people @ phonedog say it might come out on Sprint..

But don't worry, Tmo is comming out with more android phones this fall/winter.

Check out the samsung galaxy.

The only thing thats REALLLy good about Hero is the Sense UI, but you can change up your Android whenever you want by flashing it etc.

i think the iphone keyboard is the easyiest smartphone keyboard to use the blackberry one is annoying and the one on the palm pre is the same way really annoying

I agree. BlackBerry is the most productive with docs and everything and push e-mail. I think that BlackBerry has the perfect balance of productivity and fun. Best smartphone for everything. i'm a BlackBerry Bold user myself.
