I think what he said was that he wouldn't make fun of her trip to rehab ... because he was an alcoholic years ago and because he felt that would be too low of a blow. I watched the interview with Craig on the subject on YouTube, I just can't remember the link.

Besides, he didn't actually make fun of her, he just used that as a setup to make fun of "Dr" Phil :)
