  • We have a 1903 nameless in perfect condition. So much nicer than these. But great video

  • what can you tell me about my grandpa's the serial number is 61071

  • @hjaimeg .32 ACP or .380?

  • @MrColt45acp .32acp

  • @hjaimeg Your .32 ACP serial number 61071 was manufactured between 1907 & 1908. Without seeing it, it's hard to tell you more about it.

  • @MrColt45acp .32acp

  • I have two colt 32's both are 1903 models just like the ones you are showing. But one say 380 instead of 32. Your thoughts? Oh and it will not chamber a 380 nor will one fit in the mag.

  • @framed30 ...Then it's a .32 cal.

  • @nwall989898 No shit? I was looking for some insight as to why it has 380 on the side with a 1903 date. the 380 didn't come along until 1908

  • @framed30 It's hard to say without seeing the pistol. Perhaps some aspiring gunsmith changed out the parts on a .32. What caliber will the pistol chamber? the 1903 patent date on the slide covers design change of the barrel bushing that was used on the 1903 Pocket Hammerless. The .380 used the same patented design, hence the 1903 date on the slide of a 1908 pistol.

  • Don't know if you'll ever reply to this but I'd appreciate it. I've had a one chambered in .32 for about 8 years. Ever since the age of 10. It was given to my grandfather by his father to fix when he turned 10. Then from my grandfather to my father and from my father to me. My gun is in pieces. And is missing quite a few. I was just wondering if you knew where to locate parts.

  • isnt that a tt33 tokarev ?

  • @turkeyforever100 Colt 1903 pocket pistol, all you have to do is look at the title.

  • @nwall989898 BUT İT looks alot like tokarev i meant that

  • Sir. Can you tell me were online one can see the official user manual for this gun?

  • @eacortes Colt website has a downloadable manual, along with serial number records and all that.

  • Best I have ever owned!

  • the name "hammerless" refers to the fact that there is no hammer sticking off the back of the pistol.

  • @NTUBER360 Although this is called a hammerless model, there is a hammer by definition. It is conceled by the slide. An example of a true "hammerless" is the Colt Model N. It is striker fired.

    Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @MrColt45acp that is true, but you know what i meant.

  • @NTUBER360 Actually I don't know what you meant. Are you refering to the point in the video where I point out the fact that this is truely not a hammerless pistol. I think everyone watching this understands by that point in the video that there is not an exposed hammer on this model, but might not know internal function of the pistol.

  • @MrColt45acp ok, that makes sence

  • Great looking pistols, fantastic videos
