Actually, in the game, the two new characters believe Lloyd is a bad guy, I'm not sure why the new girl does, but I know the new main character Emil believes he's the bad guy since he witnessed Lloyd killing his parents or something. So... I wonder what really happened.

Yeah, they are definitely more animated compared to previous Tales games, but something about the characters themselves just doesn't sit well with me. Then again, I don't think it helped that I watch the Vesperia trailer right before this one :/

In the other trailer Emil says something like "Mother...father..everyone in palmacosta...why didn't you save them?!" So i think Emil blames Lloyd for what happened in palmacosta in TOS and that's why he hates him and wants to fight him...so maybe Lloyd won't be an antagonist in this game. just the typical "You killed my parents!! I won't forgive you!!" relation

It is the best wii rpg to come out now and most likely forever since they said it themselves, that this is produced for the hardcore tales of fans and not dumbed down in the least to fit the norm of wii owners. Leave it to the name of Tales of Symphonia to save nintendo's RPG needs.

Yes. When it is green, he is calm/normal. When fighting(i.e. boss battles/story sequences) it turns red and he turns cruel, and unforgiving, and unmerciful.

Yeah pretty much. I just love the story line and when I have absolutely nothing else to do, I'll replay the game. I just love the characters and it's the most amazing game I've ever played. and I keep thinking...and I think Tales of Symphonia will always be my #1 favorite game for gamecube.
