Excellent video. If you do another one, can you pls use a digital spring weight scale. Clamp it to the center of the spindle/ center of platter, lift it up, get a close-up of the digital scale, and swiftly release it, making sure your camera is panned out so we can see how much play there is respective to the mm/grams release.

Looks like you need to tighten the springs down. You should only have 1-2MM between the plinth and the felt washers. It appears that you have alot more than that. Make sure you have an album and clamp on when setting for the actual weight.
