  • best of the best in wrestling, we will never see it like that again sad

  • A swimsuit calendar featuring the MEN of the NWA and Missy Hyatt.

Who exactly are they marketing that to?

  • @OMEGA919 ...thats what im sayin....they know 99% of the people who are buying the tape are males....they trying to hang a calendar with "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin in a speedo on their wall??? Marketing fail 101

  • I RIP YOUR NECK OFF AND DUST DOWN YOUR TONSELES

  • Lol. Beta

  • Wrestlemania can never compare to Starrcade.

  • starrcade 88, i like how they sold the ppv on the fact that all the big matches featured "the international"

  • these brings back alot of memeries

  • Does anybody know what music is being used during the Starrcade 87: Chi Town Heat commercial?

  • RIP NWA. you were the best

  • Ah the glory days pre-internet......tape trading days....man this was the time to a wrestling fan, I'd give anything to re-live the times

  • Brings back great memories from the aboslute best era in pro wrestling history. These commercials got me fired up and the videos were awesome. I feel bad for people that weren't around for mid 80's wrestling.

  • i want all these videos!!!

  • Great Comp!!

    Really takes me back.

    Thanks for posting it.

  • the 80s were a lot more than today even tho i was too young to remember it

  • Is this where the too hot for TV came into play? Whhooo!

  • 3:42 wtf?

  • WWE needs to re-release these events on DVD

  • Notice how similar this is to ECW and their constant shilling of home video events. Also notice how successful both companies were during their earlier years even without pay-per-view access.

  • I have all of these on VHS. I think I've watched War Games 87 like 20 times since I bought them all in 89.

  • Why is Will Arnett the Voice Over guy for the Crockett Cup '87 spot?

  • @GIRPhantom I think that voice is Joh Facenda?? from NFL films!? Same as bash 87??

  • @GIRPhantom it is John Facenda who before is passing was the voice of NFL films

  • @bilskie1 John Facenda died in 1984, so it's not him.

  • One thing I will say if you were buying the crocket cup 87 video at the time the advert gives away that dusty and nikita win it.

  • Anyone know the song on the Starrcade 88 commercial? They use it around here for car dealerships, would like 2 have a copy....thx

  • The voice over guy kicks ass!

  • i would love to see all these videos re-released today, i would buy them all. if vince mcmahon had any respect for professional wrestling, he would release them all again. in other words, i won't hold my breath

  • Great stuff. Many of these old NWA/WCW videos helped get me through college when things got tough. So many fun memories

  • @kseesar1 I totally agree, wrestling back then helped me through my junior high/high school years. If things were rough I'd just dream of going away into the "wrestling world" and it was an awesome time in wrestling. Those days are gone and I, as well as everyone else, really miss it. They shouldn't have "released the secret". Even though we knew many didn't and the jobbers helped the main event shows special since you didn't see them all the time.

  • the Glory Days of Wrestling

  • This new YouTube format is hurting your ratings, because I can't find the option to rate this as a 5 star video!

  • I own all of these except the Danger Zone and starrcade 83-87

  • I have all of these videos still to this day. No way will I ever record some WWE dubbed over 24/7 bs.

  • This is a nice selection of clips. I remember seeing a fistful of them everytime I purchased a Turner NWA VHS. They sure knew how to market tapes back then. You'd see these commercials and want to own every last one of them!

  • Thanks for posting these ads. I just McMahon and co. would put these out the way they were. I always wondered what was more dangerous the War Games or the Sky Walkers? I know in the War Games you didnt have a big fall, but all those men in a tight area and I know thats how JJ Dillon got hurt, but Cornette got hurt in the first Sky Walkers.

  • wow, back in the day, wrestling was wrestling at the old nwa, today, wrestling is pure garbage whether wwe or tna, the old nwa wrestlers were doing great matches before it's time for less money. hell, john cena who is making 5x more money can't even lace any of these old nwa wrestler's boots.

  • TRUE GRIT

  • No not really.

  • Super! I love this! Thanks for posting this...I only wish NWA/WCW had embraced the video tape release of their events more

  • I have Bash 85, 87 and 90 in the original boxes. A little worn as they are from video stores.

  • I have all of these tapes minus the Danger Zone tape

  • I have been looking for this forever!!!

  • damn I miss these days

  • @Dre7Guevara You're not the ONLY one!

  • I cant believe I remember just about all of these ...good times

  • I have Starrcade 86, 87, and 88, Great American Bash 87 and 88, and Crockett Cup 88.

You can get them on Amazon, but you're gonna have to overpay a little.

  • Classic NWA:-) I have 3 nwa tapes. Wish I had all of these in this commercial.
