Irony! People who are raised into a religion (read: brainwashed) are much more likely to stay in that religion than those who were raised without any bias one way or the other. You don't have atheists raised from infancy atheistic maxims like theists (Jesus loves me this I know....)

i was there as a legal observer to make sure ppl could express their views w/out violence on either side--from what I saw, the marchers respected the counter-protesters and vice versa. Just because 1 group of ppl apparently were intolerant, I dont think its fair to attribute it to the entire crowd, b/c there were plenty clashes on both sides.
