Yes he was. A very talented and wonderful actor. JB should have been awarded a BAFTA for his work but never did which is a disgrace. BAFTA should hang their heads in shame. He did so much more but we rarely get to see because alot of his work is not readily availble on DVD. Hopefully with the petition we can change that and make his wish come true. I love Jeremy Brett's potrayal of the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. He was a genius at it.
