I love manga, so I might read it, but, honestly, I starting to get tired of all the overhyped. It was a great book, but now with all these new fans that refuse to /read/ the book, I'm almost embarrassed to say I've read it (17 times...). Even my friends tease me about the fact that I like Twilight. I miss the times when you could say that you like Twilight and not get mocked because of it.

I definitely believe that Twilight is starting to get over exposure and that's definintely not a good thing. It's already starting to border on overkill. However, I'm sure that the graphic novel will sell because there are some who are still mesmerized by everything Twilight. I personally have moved on. When I first read the books I was hooked. Now, I barely could care less anymore. I'll still see the movies to see if they improve with each sequel, but I'm a little tired of it all.

It got old when I walked into my nearest bookstore to find shelfs lined with the Twilight character dolls/ action figures instead of books, and little eleven year old children were allowed to see the midnight release- which to anyone whose ever gone to one means that for a full 2 hours you can watch the movie but not hear a damn word b/c the little flock of girls behind who kick your chair and scream "OMG -insert character name here-!" throughout the whole movie

I think this is ridiculous. Twilight is NOT anime! The whole Twilight thing has gone way too far. I mean I've read the books and seen the movies and used to consider myself a fan but now it's just crazy. This is completely unnecessary and just a way to make money.

Honestly, I'd prefer Myer to finish Midnight Sun and give us Edward's take on the story, rather than retell Twilight as it is with a graphic novel.. quite frankly I'm disappointed in Myer and pretty much fed up with Twilight right now.
