Tea comes from India, which were a third world dominion of the British Empire...so they're within their rights to mention Yorkshire, on account of it bein a third world version of Lankyshire, o' course!
Can someone tell me what the poncy order is when they say 'welcome to Jean's cafe'? It sound's really funny. I was in a starbucks in Glasgow airport last week and there were similar orders in the queue in front of me, 'Latte' 'Grande' and all this nonsense,I couldn't even pronounce some of the words on the menu,I just asked for a large tea!
@diffusiononline There's acual no possible drink of the one ordered. No one would ever order it. A latte is just some warmed mlk with strong coffee in it (the grande big means its small)
Havin' moved from't UK t't Australia, tea 'ere (Bushells?) tastes like summat that come from a diseased rat's bladder. They do Typhoo 'British Blend' in't supermarkets but t'aint same. Can't gerra decent cuppa in Oz.... This song meks up f'rit :-)

what does national pride have to do with tea?
YesIAmThatCoolBitch 1 year ago
@YesIAmThatCoolBitch - it's that stereotype of nationalism based on the english as the lovers of a "nice cuppa"..... and it's funny, too!
