Specifically, Skrillex is Techno Fidgethouse Dubstep or culturally known as "Brostep". If you want an analogy, Skrillex is to the genre dubstep as A Day To Remember is to the genre hardcore. Skrillex is the ADTR of dubstep.

And its not that im jealous, its more that i dont think he deserves the acclaim and they should look at other producers, I mean, he was the only dubstep artist at the Grammys, how about Excision? Datsik? Rusko? even Pendulum's Drum n Bass couldve gone to the Grammys, they're all pretty mainstream, but obviously not mainstream enough to even be considered.
