man i love FTM to death and they're a big inspiration for me, i think they're genuine, i think their songwriting is original and beautiful; the vocals are stunning and not only because of the heartfelt raw performance but also because of the intricate layering and harmony work..this album's production lets it down a tiny bit, more clarity would be ideal..but i love them anyways, i still buy their music and merch, and am actually planning to fly to USA to see them perform..can't get enough
the people who hit dislike hit it by accident, they were listening to the song and about to hit like,, the chorus started and they came in their pants, slipped and hit the dislike button. Its okay guys.
This song is one of the best songs I've ever heard....ever, period. This band is simply amazing & somehow they've managed to slip under my radar until about a week ago. By far one of the most talented bands to emerge since Pink Floyd. Just epic.
One thing that always helps me to appreciate ftm songs more is looking up the lyrics or listening to the lyrics to try and understand what he's saying... adds another dimension to the music
As much as I can't stand those spammy comments like: "such and such number of dislikers are deaf/stupid/hit-the-wrong-button" I must say, I'm very unhappy with you two dislikers. seriously.
Best album I've purchased all year, and that's saying a lot... 2011's been a fantastic year for music, with Manchester Orchestra's new album, among others.
To have full faith that an album will be truly incredible before you have actually heard it, and to still be amazed, is pure gold. Thank you, Fair to Midland.
The talent, fervor, and drive of this band have done nothing short of create a masterful follow up. Fair to Midland does fantastic things for a dying genre, reinventing as it evolves. It's fantastic. Every. Single. Song.
Thanks for posting the album on YouTube man. Now I can spread the word of this album throughout the facebook world. I'm so goddamn happy with this album. Almost makes me want to cry honestly. Such good music. And we've all been waiting so long.
Fair to midland is one of the very few and very leet bands that both of thier major releases features NO bad songs on it. I haven't really listened to their non major stuff but i'm sure it's just as amazing. Not many bands can be like this.
@Kyd0x That's why they are my favorite band i like other bands but Fair to Midland is that band that i like every single second of every song they have..
Honestly, I love all of their albums, and they never get old, but Carbon Copy Silver Lining wasn't very popular, its not a bad album by any means, but the songs wernt as... I don't know, unique as their ones after it. Though i wish i was a fan from the beginning because they were always amazing, i caught on around Inter Funda Stifle

Were you shaking in your boots,
Did it scare you half to death?
When you saw the falling arrows.

@Metalguitarfreak I like the first 23 seconds and then I don't like it anymore. Maybe it's the keyboard? :/
