Decent case, but the price!!!!!!!! If only ThermalTake would make a cheaper version!
I like how the 3D designer was using a max with this case sitting beside. Obviously, ThermalTake wouldn't want to get sued by Apple by making a hackintosh, so why then would they show off their case beside a display showing Max OS X? You can clearly tell by the legendary bar across the top of the display.
Nice design, can't justify the price with the poor fit and finish that have been reported by purchasers. For this much money, you cannot ship poor quailty and expect good sales.
blame thermaltake on price they get it wrong everytime this case should be £200 tops thats it there are alot of better cases out there that cool your pc bits better than i do like it design
It is likely the most beautiful case I have ever seen, and I would be proud to put it nearly anywhere -- THE BOTTOM LINE FOR ME : The Kandalf LCS case (Also from Thermaltake) comes with an embedded Liquid Cooled design, and only costs $279. I simply couldn't justify the additional $450, simply for looks and VERY slight cooling performance decrease. Function > Form.
This being said - If there's a liquid cooled model in the future, I'm all about it.
Case looks interesting I don't understand the price though as there are cases way cheaper than that on the market today with more features and better airflow, I don't think I would purchase one for myself even if they where below 200 dollars let alone 1000 dollars I like my cases to be low profile.
before I switch cases i'll make a video of me frying an egg on the side of my recent case as before and when I switch i'll try it if possible on the level 10 and see if it cooks, Thats how I'm basing my judgment.
PC users tend to overclock their systems, and add many additional things to help speed up both rendering and gaming. One big factor is ventilation, which has been addressed.
That said, I am in no way telling anyone to buy this case.
This is truly one of those times when the car company should have stayed with making object that roll. Its cool to look at but I am not impressed. not one (wish I had one pang) not impressed.
You got twenty thousand bucks wrapped up in your pc for gaming? That gives you a hell of an advantage in most games dont it? i hate those douchebags that spawn in before everyone else then gloat like they are better when the whole time they are tech Cheating... what an ass!
not really the cheaters are getting worse it's sad i know. I use my pc to run a counterstrike server that i offer as a free service for kids to stay out of trouble after school. It's not the cleanest game but it's worth it's while. I also use it to design arenas for the game, work, and play. A small investment i say!
1:05-1:12 worst photoshop i have seen in a long while, plus thats a convention where all the pc's are the same. lol, Anyway interesting case, won't buy it, bmw Designworks? then.. it'll be about £1K too much.
$600 may seem like its a lot, but when you have $14,000 worth of SLI Graphics, a $3500 Motherboard, $1800 of RAM, and 7 $600 hard drives its kinda hard to trust water cooling alone. Your car is water cooled right, well if you can't get air to the heat sinks its useless, right . I'm a serious gamer I need every advantage possible and this is my advantage!
Hmm, Here are the words. Its a great case. Over the past decade computers got a little too compact for proper cooling efficiency, Thus leading to premature Hard Drive and RAM failure.
This case is designed to store high end graphics and valuable data that if lost could cost millions of dollars to recover. Do not regard the comment below it's from someone that would never have the potential to use this case to it's ability, sorry to be so frank. If you are a enthusiast for gaming, go for it.
This is a great case, the comments below are very misleading. Lets explain efficiency, over the past decade PC companies have made a mole hill from a mountain in other words they got a little too compact for efficiency. This design is brilliant because when you have more room you have more cooling cfm's that are allowed to pass through, which will allow a longer life span of important parts such as valuable hard drives and RAM components.
The design is new, but I really don't see the point and on top of that, the case is too big and pricey. Rather spend the money on a nice water cooling loop or some better hardware than on this.
I can see the idea behind this, but this could of been done by very efficient compartmentalizing in a what you would call a "regular" case design. And I somehow doubt that it would have an so exceptional thermal performance.

Amazing case but it is not the best, I would rather just use my $900 to buy an entire Alienware computer instead but thats just me.

They should go easy on those thermaltake stickers, or at least make them fully removable. It's spoiling the aesthetics.
