  • I know this vid was on triceps but I am looking for a way to shock my bicep muscles. I have been doing curls and hammer curls... But I don't feel sore or that I worked them out hard enough. Any time I workout I like to have my muscles quivering from the weight and pressure. Any workouts that can do that in just a regular home gym?

  • @Holm123451

I have a complete program that you should check out called "Blast Your Biceps" at:

    BlastYourBiceps . com

  • @Holm123451 do supersets, google it.

  • dude you look like Steve O with muscles. Haha

  • @MrChewstraight haha he does!

  • How many sets would you reccommend for the first workout you did in this video and how many for each set?

  • @TasteOfVengeance5

For each of these exercises do 4 sets of 10 reps.

  • I tried doing that first exercise, it's a lot more difficult than it looks and the benches at my gym are poor and thin. The third exercise requires you to hold the dumbell a little longer when stretched.

  • Great examples

  • how many reps should i do?

  • @madmoneycash242

I'd recommend doing 4 sets of 10 reps for each exercise shown.

  • @madmoneycash242 do 10 reps

  • @madmoneycash242 depends if you want muscular endurance then do 10-15. if you doing strength and size then you do 5-8 reps. That's what i do and it works.

  • the camera guy surely has a groupie attitude and throws way to many compliments. Lee don't shower alone with this guy..

  • holy shit your frickin jacked

  • to gain size are you better doing less reps and more weight or more reps and less weight?

  • @2k9alan

I've got a video that talks about this called "How Many Reps Should You Do To Build Muscle".

  • what's wrong with pushups? they work the same muscles, no equipment necessary.

  • @humblyshyt

Push ups are an awesome exercise, I include them as a regular part of my chest workouts.

  • Gonna try this routine with a couple of added extras let you know how i get on after a few weeks cheers

  • Wow thank you so much this really works.

  • Mann! I wish I could work out like this.. I don't have a car, or money yet XD

    I'd love to improve myself.

  • Totally love this workout, makes my tricep burn ^^

  • Hi.. I'm 5 foot 7.. and im 150 before i started gym..

now im 175 .. so i think thats 25 lbs of muscle.. however i wan't defined abs

LOL can anyone direct me to a 5 foot 7 footer programme?

  • @technical010

A workout is a workout, your height doesn't determine what exercises you do.

  • @technical010 I'm not highly knowledgeable, but you may need to cut down on body fat?

  • I find when i do tricep extensions it puts alot of strain on my elbows, any tips?

  • @MureMelancholy

If a certain move hurts, don't do it, find another alternative exercise to do instead. There are dozens of different tricep moves you can do, you don't have to stick to the ones that hurt.

  • @leemhayward The only thing ive found that didnt kill my elbows was bench dips, normal dips and pushdown v-bar do you know anything else i could do?

  • @MureMelancholy

Close grip bench presses are another good tricep move that doesn't place a lot of stress on the elbow joint.

  • @leemhayward are kids 14 and over allowed to use dumbells

  • @TheGangstaogloc

Yes, just start off light and focus on learning how to lift properly before increasing the weights.

  • just a question, isn't it hard to do quick movements or jump with such a big body?

  • @yoojoel

It will hinder somethings, but you can still train to be fast and explosive. I mean just look at some heavyweight athletes like boxers, wrestlers, MMA fighters, etc. Some of those guys are huge and still very athletic.

  • U forgot 2 mention gum..thats helluva lotta breathing. be thoughtful of people around you..PLEASE..but great video!!!!!

  • steve-o in roids !

  • When I finish my kickbacks(I do them without bench) and extend my arm I feel more burn or pain in my shoulders rather than in my triceps... any idea why?

  • @Relseg

As your triceps get more developed it will be easy to get that mind muscle connection and feel the muscles working. When I started training I couldn't get much benefit from kickbacks. But now that I'm bigger and more developed I can feel them working.

  • Dang Lee I've seen your newest videos and let me tell you "Your a Beast " in a nice kind of way. I've been working out cuz of my diabetes doing your exercises, your the man and your girlfriend Patricia looks great too ..

    Keep doing your thing.

  • Hi im Lee Hayward , and this is the tricep . ahahha

  • shut the fuck up mate let him work

  • converse workout haha :D

  • who else thinks this guy looks like a big stevo off jackass haha

  • I have a problem lol it seems that triceps on my right arm is more visible then on the left arm how can i fix that or is that some serious problem ??? please help

  • @freezingmoon999

It's quite common to have one arm more developed then then the other. Do a search for my video called "Do You Have One Arm Bigger Then The Other".

  • @leemhayward it's just uneven development though, and can be easily fixed with the right exercises.

  • thanks for these, helped me a lot. 4 months in and noticing a change in my body shape

  • Great routine Lee...guys his routines are amazing...i did his abs routine yesterday and my abs were screaming.

  • lee, have you ever tried doing that first exercise but after the doing the db press up, doing a slow negative tricep extension instead of the role back? fucking killer!!

  • i don't get how people fit in these workouts in a week. So many muscles to work on

  • This is the perfect video! Straight forward, simple, and only uses dumbells, no fancy equipment.

  • You look like a tank Steve-O :-)

  • So i did kick-backs today my form on the bench seemed like it was right..but how do you keep your head?looking forward?or the way you did it? i've seen different videos and most of them say to keep your head looking forward is there a difference?

  • @Srpskeoci

I usually line the bench up sideways with the mirror and look at my triceps as I do the exercise.

  • that first exercise seems to be working out my forearms rather than triceps? help

  • @ilovethesimpsons8

You can change the order and do the kickbacks first to pre-exhaust your triceps before doing the other moves. This should allow you to feel the triceps working more.

  • this guy looks like steve-o from jackass

  • i think ive fucked up my elbow as i cant stretch my arms straight out

  • great video, checkout my channel!

  • nice shoes lee

  • i like how your one of the few people that actually respond to your viewers. lovin the videos man keep em up. They help a lot when changing workout routines to get over plateaus

  • Hi Lee,

I'm a 22 year old male, I'm 5'11 & weigh just under 12 stone. I would stay I'm naturally toned as I've played sports all my life, I've just recently started to hit the gym, I'm not looking to be body builder material, but would just like to be more toned (ie biceps, triceps, stomach)

    what would you recommend doing?

  • @JamboApache

Go to my main channel page, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a link to my "FREE Bodybuilding Quick Start Kit". You should sign up for this and follow the advice that I share, it will get you started on the right track towards building a strong, lean, muscular body!

  • @leemhayward Hey Lee,

I got your quick start kit, also the nutrition guide, and i havent seen anything about calories? i got the part about carbs and protiens and fats u need but if you eat them at the right time of day does calories not matter?

  • @hiloboyz8085

Each gram of protein and carbohydrate has 4 calories per gram. Each gram of fat has 9 calories per gram. If you focus on your nutrient intake you'll automatically cover your calorie intake as well.

  • look at his carve at the begining, loooks like a plate in his leg, that must hurt

  • steve-O !

  • Hi Leemhayward,

Im a 13 year old boy who has been lifting for awhile now.

Ive seen your video and decided to try it out for a change in workout routine

I just want to ask a question with regards to what I should eat after these exercises ~

  • @ICESURFER200

Go to my website LeeHayward*com and download my "FREE Bodybuilding Quick Start Kit". That program includes a nutrition guide that will show you exactly what foods you need to eat.

  • @leemhayward shouldn't you probably address the fact that he's 13 and probably shouldn't be lifting at that stage of growth? lol

  • @HiyoruMikiyazoya

I started lifting weights when I was 12 years old, so the fact that he's 13 mean's he's a late bloomer LOL

  • wee man?

  • I hate the bench type of tricep exercise, but it does grow the triceps

  • Whats up, big ass steve-o

  • Sets and reps for each? Rest time? Performed in a circuit? Thanks!

  • @brainmerody

3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise. Rest 90 seconds between sets. Do them in straight sets (3 sets of the first exercise before moving on to the second exercise, etc.)

  • @crapshif

I've got my personal fat loss diet covered in my Extreme Fat Loss Program at:

    LeeHayward*com/dvd

  • thanks for the vid really helped me with tricep workouts

  • damn steve-o has been hittin the weights

  • I did that workout last week, I liked it so I put it in my routine and I also do laying tricep extension i have a vid on my channel about that workout

  • was that an abdominal crunch machine behind u there on video? when u was doing the second exercise i love that machine its awesome

  • Nice! I have a lagging left tricep, could i do this only with my left arm and will this even them out?? There is about a 1/2 in. Difference in my arm size, but mainly due to my left tricep, and I can do the "Tricep extension" with my right arm 15 more lbs. Than my left.

  • Vince Delmonte is the best.

  • work on ur absss!!

  • Good

  • real good videos.

  • Great training Vids, Thanks for uploading.

  • He is a savage!

  • What stretches do you recommend for triceps? mine.always lock up and hurt like hell

  • @joe84au

If you go to my main website I've got a good article about stretching at:

    LeeHayward*com/stretch_exercise*htm

  • he looks like a BIGGER version of stevo from JackAss

  • I can hear your elbow clicking

  • all pretty decent id keep the elbow more straight tho. and keep it more of a perfect L shape for the overhead triceps over the head. locking out also causes joint problems plus keeping slightly bent keep constant tension. I usually use 40-50 nice and slow with my elbows parallel to my shoulder this way I could do 80 easy maybe 90s for reps on armed. but horrible form. just my 2 cents.

  • @ leemhayward hi lee, i've got long Arms but good Guns but find it hard to pack on any size on Triecps, i find them really stubborn to grow ??? what should i do ? im in good shape for Semi Pro rugby and train very hard. im 17.3 Stone and 6ft 5 ! any tips on how to get them out would be great cheers Lee!!

    James

  • @MadStylezuk

Just search through some of my most recent videos. I've got some cool tricep exercises posted up.

  • @MadStylezuk same problem here mate, im looking through a bunch of exercises and trying them all out till i find something that i can work with. good luck

  • @MadStylezuk seated tricep extension machine. and if you are having a hard time growing that muscle give it a hard workout 2 times a week and imediately use 30 grams of 100% whey after you tricep workout like within 10 minutes or so when theres lots of blood in your arms.

  • Been doing bench press for a month. Workin nicely

  • so 10 reps and 3 sets of these???

  • look at that mother fuckers calves

  • I'm 14 about 5'4 would this affect my growth?

  • that was nice,im new in this could u pls tell me how many reps per sets needed to build big triceps in short period of time....and how much time needed for me to rest my muscle between each intensive workouts???

  • @iLCommentore

I actually made a video that covers this in detail. Just search for "How Many Reps Should You Do To Build Muscle?"

  • nicee pace for breathing too , thanxxx. this helps the only one i knew was tht last one wiff the chair and stretching bckwards

  • nicee pace for breathing too , thanxxx. this helps the other way i had involved a chair and stretching ur arm wiff dumbells back wards

  • what was the 2nd one called

  • Hey do u guys do another muscule group with triceps and is this a complete tricep workoutc

  • @nramela23

Sometimes I'll work chest, shoulders, and triceps together in the same workout. Other times I may work biceps and triceps together for a complete arm workout. But these 3 exercises here is enough for a complete tricep workout.

  • @leemhayward What's your diet plan? And does cardio mess up muscle growth?

  • Jesus, nice calves

  • 79 people didnt listen to vince delmonte and injured their albows

  • HHAHAHA STTEVE O

  • that rolling dumbbell extension is beautiful

  • how many sets and reps do you do ?

  • I play sport 4-5 times a week. So I do far too much cardio to build any kind of real mass. Wish I could build mass and still run for extended periods of time

  • im just starting to workout and i really want to get my arms looking bigger. What are the main dumbbell excercises you would recommend?

  • @Falcons8455

Just go to my main video page and check out my "Playlists". I've got a whole video section on arm workouts.

  • @leemhayward Hi Lee, great vid...love the 1st excercise the rolling dumbell extension but seems awkward when I try it...it may be my height 6'3+, when I complete the extension it seems I have no where to go with a press as I am already extended. Do I still need to work on the form or do you think it could be my arm length that restricts the full range of motion.

  • @38artvandelay

Just experiment with the form, even though you have long arms you should still be able to do this exercise. Basically think of lowering the weight like a tricep extension and then pressing it back up as a bench press.

  • @Falcons8455 biceps basic dumbbell lifting

  • Thanks! This showed me I was doing it right :)

  • just wondering, how long have you been practicing this workouts ???

  • @xhoni123456

I started messing around with weight training back in 1990 and I started competing in bodybuilding competitions in 1995.

  • those aren't calves...Cowsssss

  • dude im wondering im going to the gym for 3 months now. i do back and triceps for 1 day that was last week then i notice when i wake up my triceps didnt feel anything. then i tried it again yesterday. still no hurting feeled in my triceps :( i dont know why but im doing it right. and im doing 50 pounds shit. :(

  • @ireallyhatenoobs

Muscle soreness is not required for muscle growth. That's a huge myth. Generally the better your recovery abilities are, the less muscle soreness you'll experience. I rarely ever get sore from my workouts.

  • @leemhayward oooh thanks! i thought it was a problem in my triceps. could i ask? what are you're tips for building a huge chest and a bicep?

  • @ireallyhatenoobs

Just look through my video playlists. I've got specific workouts listed for all major muscle groups.

  • @leemhayward okay dude thanks another question. my chest is getting bigger. but my right chest is more bigger than the left. i mean really bigger. lol when im doing bench press should i put more weight in the left? and less in the right?

  • @ireallyhatenoobs

Do a search for my video called "do you have one arm bigger than the other" that will answer your question.

  • @leemhayward thank you mate!

  • @ireallyhatenoobs there must be something wrong with the way you do tricep curls. just my 2 cents

  • thanks a lot.

  • just wondering how big are your arms ?

  • @xuanyiking

They are just over 17 inches around.

  • Great vid mate, cant seem to put mass on my tri's but there defo getting stronger, any tips for mass gain, thanks lee

  • Whoa that first tricep workout looked INTENSE !

    Thanx Steve-O

  • how do you keep your elbows straight when doing these excercises/

  • i always seem to move my elbows when doing triceps any tips on how to keep them straight?

  • @R90liam

Try lifting lighter and getting the form down pat. Then gradually build back up the weights.

  • So I'm '6"2 210 and I have been working out for 6 months but i've only gotten slightly bigger but no drastic changes. I do everything for my arms in 1 day, legs next day, then arms again, legs, arms, legs, and then rest and arms again... How should I Improve my workout....

  • @ssalsey77

I'm actually putting together a complete bodybuilding split routine. Just check out my recent videos.

  • @ssalsey77 ok eat 6 times a day 1 gram of protein per pound or so eat lots og good complex carbs like oats brown rice ect look up what complex carbs are. Get veggies and fruits in your meals not all meals but atleast 2 to 3 meals. Eat every2 to 3 hrs a day eat 6 times eat small meals. 6 to 12 reps per set dont go to failure until your last set. um look up how many sets per body part i do 3 to 4 for biceps for example dont over train and if your over trained rest a week.

  • dig your videos man, just had a few questions. broke my left arm when I was 19, I'm 23 years old and now my right side is a bit more advanced then my left. i do the dumbbell exercises but was wondering, when i use a barbell should I increase the weight on my left side?

  • @tapatioNreefer

No, keep the same weight on both sides of the barbell. If you want to do extra work for your weaker side do a few sets of single arm dumbbell exercises after you finish your regular workout.

  • holly shit, is steve o!hahahaha!!

  • @olultimateX

Well post up a video and show us all how it's done.

  • What kind of warm up should you do before doing this type of exercise?

  • @ollieledzep

Do a search for my video "Pre-Workout Warm Up Exercise Routine" I cover how to warm in detail.

  • @leemhayward hey i was wondering if it is okay to workout even tho your sore cuz ive been doin that for the past 3 days.

  • @MrRandomswiss

If it's just mild muscle soreness then you should be ok to workout. But if you are painfully sore take more rest time.

  • great intro music hell yeah \m/ and great exercises

  • @leemhayward i need help im 16 pretty stron, but i want to get a lot more bigger but i hat ethe taste of protein, will 4 sets 12 help me get bigger????

  • @ollieledzep depend wat u doin but apparently pull up nd deep make u warm up nd get ur blood pump faster .!!!! everyday before ur basic workout do them 3 times pull up 12 rp each time..nd deep too .!!!

  • I can feel the burn on my right arm, but not on my left.. I am doing the exercise right and I have tried adjusting the weight to heavier/lighter but just can't feel it, any tips?

  • @ThAceQuinn

That's quite common, most people are stronger and more developed with one arm. But by doing dumbbell exercises in your arm workouts you'll help to balance this out overtime.

  • @ThAceQuinn lol. try to not to wank so much XD

  • Can someone help me? im 15 years and kind of short like about 159m tall and i was thinking of carrying weights and get bigger muscles. However, one of my friends said that i will not grow and stay short.. So i was thinking if it is ok if i carry weights/ dumbbells?

  • @jethrotay

That's a myth, weight training has no impact on how tall you are going to grow. Most guys will grow to be as tall as their dad regardless if they lift weights or not.

  • @leemhayward Ohh Ok thanks alot :)

  • @jethrotay well you could stop growing, if I take mtself as an example I am also 15 years old and last summer I decided to start working out because I wanted bigger muscles and I worked out 3-5 times a week. I had some great results but my growing just stopped. Since I started working out last year I have not grown a bit but I am happy with the results my trainning gave me.

  • my right hand is alitle bite weaker than my left hand what should I do with that dear lee?

  • @Yaldaify

Do a search for my video: "Do you have one arm stronger than the other". I cover this in that video.

  • Hey whats your take on the tricep bar? would you say its an effective tool?

  • @sonofagun01

I'm not a big fan of it, but if you like it you can certainly use it in your workouts.

  • I was wondering how many sets of these should we do?

  • @conwashur

I usually recommend doing at least 3 working sets for each exercise when training arms.

  • i just wand one single efficient triceps workout

  • @jooohnney

Unfortunately there is "no one best workout" our body is constantly growing and adapting so you need to vary your workouts accordingly. But try doing these exercises in your tricep workout for the next 6 weeks and see how it works for you.

  • i am doing tri extensions from a month and still i cant see results

  • gll

  • Any advice you might have for a person who has 25 pound and 15 pound dumbells will 4 walls and a room?...that's all I have.

  • @1MrDonCarlos1 Find a gym!

  • @1MrDonCarlos1 hahah same set up to bro

  • dude do u think doing around 160 push ups alternate days with in any way help with triceps or chest? or shd i do those 160 push ups daily?

  • When i do the exercise around 1:55 i always seem to arch my back, are there any ways i can prevent this?

  • @xLEGITIMATEGAMINGx

Arching your back is actually a good thing. You want to maintain a natural arch as this will place your back in its strongest and safest position.

  • Im doing bicep and tricep workout at the same day workout, am i doing the right way or should i do it on a different day?

  • @jnazareth02

I usually pair up biceps and triceps in the same workout. I like the feeling of having pumped arms from working both muscles together.

  • @leemhayward

is it really hard to make the biceps bigger than the triceps, and which is better to make the muscles bigger, lift heavy weights or light weights? thanks for your help
