I spent a week with the FS100 -- it's a nice camera -- but don't waste money on it. The 1Dx will be out soon (high bitrate intraframe internal codec with USABLE footage up to ISO 50,000), and we're now within months of the 5D Mark 3 -- and that will be the indie standard for the next three years. The internal codecs on both of these cameras will BLOW AWAY your old EX1r.
And, if you're looking for a play toy -- I've had incredible fun with the hacked GH2.
@drewnetwork I really want something with zebra and peaking. Using a 'photo' sensor for video is also a no go in my world. Even Canon's C300 has a photo sensor.
That to me is the same as years ago when companies sold so-called 'HD ready' screens at 1366x768. It boggles my mind that the pro world are ready to live with that.
