Also, as a teacher I just want to say that some people get rude if they didn't understand what you did and you should just ignore them. Granted, your video isn't for FIRST TIME guitar holders, but it was the only video I personally found helpful. Everybody learns differently and they ALWAYS blame the teacher if they don't get something because it makes them feel better about themselves and their own lack of understanding. Could you have been more explanatory? Of course, but who cares! lol

I think you are being very critical about tuning. Yes, I agree, it's not super perfect but good enough. I used Guitar Pro 5 to tune my guitar a half step down and I checked his tuning. It sounds fine to me.
