  • @metrobaseball19 Put two detector rails on each departure area and have them going into an AND gate that pushes a piston to slow down one of the mincarts temporarily.

  • I don't like it..when he returns to the station there are random torches lit up, it may be because the rs-nor you used for the selector had wires cross-contaminating.

  • @chancerogers85 Theres actually a way to stop that happening. i forgot to add it to the description box

  • @chancerogers85 Oh i did add it, have a look ;)

  • how do you expand it

  • @airsofterguyer You build them next to each other :)

  • Comment removed

  • i am on a server with a friend and we are trying to do something like this but if we are both going to the same place...how do we not crash into each other? is there a design for that that you know of or that you have?

  • @metrobaseball19 its doable, but not the kinda thing i can explain, its complex redstone involved.

  • @xisumavoid i figured :/ lol

  • can you please do this again it wont work for me :( i tried and put in the tutorial how to find the south ( i am dumb)

  • @runescapeproguide If it doesn't work, build it on the other axis ;)

  • @runescapeproguide how you do that (again dumbass)

  • I have no problem with this station so long as the tracks are orientated on the North or East side of the module. If the tracks are on the South or West side then it doesn't work. I believe this may be due to the N/S quirk commonly mentioned in the redstone forum. This quirk seems to effect contraptions with redstone torches stacked one above the other and causes them not to work when facing certain directions.

  • @Hujnecro Thanks for the info dude :) I could be wrong but in the map im fairly sure i have them on different axis but i really don't have time to check, anyway ill update the video description :)

  • What's your texture pack ?

    Sorry for my english

  • @Niccolas44100 Download link on channel :)

  • 1 more video Xisuma one more. Congratz in advance for 100 videos. :)

  • @TheRedstoneHelper Oh were almost there :)

  • @xisumavoid yep.

  • Great build and thanks! Mine troubled me all day until I turned it south. It only worked due to the redstone thinger when from button to back, the thing was facing south. Either way awesome, keep up the good work!

  • @nateauld So it worked only when facing south? It worked in all directions for me, but then other people have been reporting problems too :S

  • wow wtf is that O.o :D nice! this has nothing to do with the video, but the everytime i see a vid with minecarts, it makes me wish that in minecraft, coal and iron would have a speficic world height to spawn in, not just so that theyre both pumped all the way down to bedrock :( it would be nice to have an iron/coal mine :)

  • @Mrzjasuu There might be a mod to do that :) You should have a look!

  • I have a small problem, when i push one button, the track switches and come back to default directly. It is because i misplaced a repeater ? Any help is welcome. P. S. : I can send you a world save if you want to check the circuit yourself.

  • @DJaywens Always double check redstone :) Plus u can download the map i used in this video :)

  • It took a few hours to get it right, but I now have 3 modules (6 tracks) running flawlessly. Minor little mistakes plagued my first few attempts and I was careful when building the station not to put any blocks too close to the modules. Thanks very much.

  • @Hujnecro :D Glad you got it working :)

  • Nice video. I'm having a problem with one of my lanes.... I built what you had in your vid and it worked great with those two lanes. Next I added another set of two lanes - again worked great. 4 times now i've added a 3rd set (to give lanes 5 and 6) and all 4 times it has the same problem with lane 5 - it turns on fine, and all other front torches turn out ok, but then the lane 5 torch turns out too a second later. On each build I triple checked my repeater settings - all look fine.

  • @LordDarkwii Other people keep reporting the same problem to me and i don't know what to say anymore, download the map and you can see it works. there most be some other element thats stopping it from working, but i don't know what it is :/

  • I built it step by step and it does not work and im using 1.1

  • @ceco1998 Double check the redstone wiring, or download the map and compare :)

  • Be advised, there is some kind of bug now that will randomly keep some blocks powered/not leave certain redstone torches unlit when you build it indoors. I used 3 clients, spent 2 hours building this entire thing indoors, then tracing the wires to the uploaded world in the comments section block by block and for some reason 1 section of block just remained powered all the time. It wouldn't actually modulate power. Great video and tutorial though, Built it outdoors the exact same way, works great

  • @neonend Are you using the snapshot?

  • @xisumavoid What do you mean by snapshot?

  • @neonend The snapshot is a weekly update from jeb

  • @DJCreeperZz Nope just standard server/update. No Snapshots. I went back and checked all the wiring again and rebuilt inside, after I'd built a working/successful one, and there was an entire row of invisibly powered blocks. I can't seem to make this inside, outside works fine, I've quadruple checked wiring, for the better part of 3-4 days. I'm trying to build an underground subway/railway system and this modular build is great, but just seems bugged for inside builds, for me anyway

  • @TheOsiasya I don't think you did mess it up, sounds to me like it does what its supposed to... unless i've mis read you :S

  • Thanks! Very good, only one problem but sadly its quite severe. I've made an 8-track one and the 8th track is being a cart whore. Whenever I try to change it to another, the other flicks off then on and the eighth one goes off again. The only one that can do anything about this is the first one and that one simply stays on meaning both tracks 1 and 8 are active simultaneously. Please help!

  • @jamielowery99 There must be a problem with the wiring, download the map and compare it :)

  • My tracks leave just fine. However, when I'm coming back to my station, my tracks do not behave well. For example, if I try to enter the station on track #1, it brings me into the track-switching room and then sends me out on track #2, instead of bringing be back to the launching track. What have I done wrong?

  • @sparkysarah78 You've forgotten to change the direction of the repeaters for your station :)

  • @xisumavoid You are correct. Thank you!

  • @sparkysarah78 np :)

  • awesome video, fantastic tutorial presentation. definitely trying this soon.

  • @jandko Thanks dude :)

  • Ive got a better and much more compact design on my channel.

  • @randomvidsinc123 Very nice man :)

  • does this work for 1.1?

i built it twice in my world but it still does not work

  • @cleaningwiz Works fine in 1.1, you just need to double check the redstone :)

  • @xisumavoid works outdoors for me but as soon as i make a wall around it the promblems start coming...i took the liberty of puting the world in a jar file if you would like to see what i did wrong (p.s. i triple checked it)

  • @cleaningwiz OK PM me the link :)

  • Cool would like to build that

  • @MrSSGSTAFF go for it :)

  • ive built it exactly as int he tutorial, but when i press the button, the torch stayes lit for a second, then the back torch will burn out and reset the fornt torch :/

  • @TheInfamousDark You need to double check all your repeater and wire settings :)

  • @xisumavoid It's on my channel!

  • @xisumavoid i double checked it, and it seemed right, but it still didnt work... im in the nether, so is that why?

  • @XXZYflamesofireYZXX Could well be, i didn't test it in the nether sorry

  • @xisumavoid I tested it kinda... i imported it o the real world, but it appeared to be a different direction...maybe that has something to do with it.

  • @XXZYflamesofireYZXX It shouldn't do it, its possible but i tested it on all axis, maybe theres is something else going on...

  • @xisumavoid May i ask what the repeaters at the back is acctually for? i dont see any point where it sends power too.

  • @XXZYflamesofireYZXX The repeaters send the signal to the next wire which resets the track for the incoming minecart :)

  • @TheInfamousDark thats the exact problem i have, could you tell me how you fixed it when you got that done?

  • Wow man, I'm really discovering your vids and i'm liking them a lot :D (you might have noticed i'm getting active in your comment section ;) ) But anyway, you really seem to put a lot of effort in posting videos and replying to comments and i really like that, all your vids are helpful too! You've got a new subscriber my friend :)

  • @comicsce10 Welcome aboard buddy :) Yes i put a lot of time and effort into my videos, but i love it all :) Its great fun being part of this community :)

  • Done, works like a charm. Thanks again.

  • @Dewaholic86 NP buddy :)

  • @unexceptionalrebel I disagree on all points. Very clear and concise tutorials.

  • @unexceptionalrebel I disagree on all points. Very clear and concise tutorials.

  • @unexceptionalrebel i can assure you i love to make videos :) I'm sorry i don't inject much personality or humor into my videos, thats just how i am :)

  • @xisumavoid On the other hand, I like them. Short, informative, to the point and easy to follow with you're step by step style. Keep them coming.. :)

  • @saj1986 Thanks dude :) Ill keep making videos don't you worry :)

  • You should do a redstone basics video, so like you can teach people how to actually use redstone. Maybe to an advanced one after it. Would love to see it!

  • @wolfy1255 hmm, its something i would like to do, but really wouldn't know where to start.. i always thinking about that though, maybe one day ill figure out how to do it :)

  • Also, for those wondering why the selector works, my video explains that. Great job on the station xisuma!

  • I recently made a really simple destination selector using the same concept as yours, only it can be built with the buttons side-by side. There are no alternating slices, just one design!

  • @PearSquirrel Are all the tracks at the back side by side too? If so id be interested in seeing it :)

  • @xisumavoid Short answer: Track switching-- No. Rail powering-- Yes.

Even if track switching with side-by-side rails were possible, I wouldn't see it as practical; the booster glitch still works in certain directions, so carts can bump into eachother when on directly adjacent tracks.

You can have adjacent booster tracks in the back though (useful for storage systems, not player transportation).

  • @PearSquirrel Could you send me a screenshot? sounds interesting :)

  • So cool! I guess this is what is going to be in your lp. :)

  • @369pierce369 No i will build something much more advanced :)

  • Great video, as always ;-)

  • @BlackCat31111 Thank you :)

  • Looks like RenEvo's

  • @albinrhinnooable Theres actually a lot that work like this :) Ive been shown a few in the comments already :)

  • its videos like this that make you stand out of the crowd :D well done man keep it up

  • @TheGiantBeanshow Thanks buddy :D

  • you could put the selectors directly next to each other if you alternated the NOR latch in a specific way so that they didnt crosstalk (reapeater, redstone, repeater, etc)

  • @OutcastAngelV Thats what i used in another project ;) i adapted the design since the rails would need spacing out :)

  • @xisumavoid to each his own right?(: id prefer something more compact, but still though, nice design

  • @OutcastAngelV Well you could use what i had before, except the wiring would be a mess because each output is next to the other

  • @xisumavoid dont worry, i know how to do it mate(; thank you though

  • @xisumavoid The Guy That Came Up with The South East Rule ? ;D It Looks Pretty Awesum

  • Man i love your vids , they are very specific and helpful, THANKS MAN :)

  • @OhhKurty NP buddy! :D

  • Oh and I'm SO glad to see the list at the end is back, that helps so much

  • @Dewaholic86 Its here to stay :)

  • Amazing man! You sir know how to show it so well that its easy, thanks so much. Perfect time too, I Could really use a main hub outside my neither exit portal.

  • @Dewaholic86 Thats awsum dude :) Thanks!

  • Really nice and compact station, great stuff :) My minecart track only has one destination but hopefully I'll be finding new places to build so I'm looking forward to trying this awesome design out. Thank you for the tutorial :)

  • @AlanJones1974Derby NP buddy :) You'll find more places im sure :)

  • xisumavoid, do you plan on using all of your tutorial designs in you single player world as you need their function? I know I will! =P

  • @Zungy24 I plan on taking everything to the next level in my LP :)

  • I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS but can you do something? If u have seen slyfoxhound video can u like be my energetic like him it will help alot cuz right now i seems like you are forcing ur self to make the videos

  • @timmice200 Im not forcing myself to make them, i love making them :) I know i don't inject much personality or humor into them, im just here to provide you with solid tutorials ;)

  • hey man as always have a quick question on the return the detector rail isn't working and flipping them works in your main station but on this side one you built doesn't flip the tracks when a cart hits it

  • @Grndragon26 i think i found it you have the repeaters under the detector rail i think they need to be next to them and restone wire under them

  • @Grndragon26 Yea i have no idea how it got like that cause i copy + pasted -_- lol computers....

  • @Grndragon26 Somehow MCedit put the repeaters and wire around the wrong way, im re uploading the map :)

  • Finally a good tutorial for this kind of minecart station

  • @TheZebybez :)

  • you are very creative Thumbs up from me !!!

  • @TheAwesomeWWEfan Thanks dude :)

  • @xisumavoid you welcome

  • @xisumavoid just to let you know you've made a mistake in the completed station in the download world, you've misplaced the wires and repeaters under the detector rails

  • @8ball1511 Cheers for pointing this out, I'm not quite sure how it got like that, must have made something wrong in MC edit, ill fix it and update the download map :)

  • This was pretty cool. I shall be making it in my clans server Imediately!

  • @TheWhiteWolfFang Awsum dude :)

  • I EXACTLY replicated this redstone device with three of these in order. No matter what i do, if i use a button, the device magically turns of a few seconds later so the rail does not stay the way it was supposed to be and just returns to the state we started from. could anyone help me with my problem?

  • @janjericho123 Are you 100% sure? Ive tested this with 6 selections and had no problems

  • @xisumavoid Great tutorial once again! I added a video response to what I use for my minecart stations.

  • @DocRedstone Approved :)

  • @xisumavoid Thank you :D

  • Can I make a suggestion? :) Use sandstone or something other than grass for the base, just so it's easier to tell where the bits are, becuase the grass blends in with the actual grass a bit. :)

  • @MrMadMinecraft Fantastic idea :) I'm going to do that!

  • @xisumavoid :3

  • @magicminecraft1 Awsum! :)

  • wow man, im so glad i subbed I'm learning sooo much :)

  • @macleanwright And learning is good :)

  • Xisuma your tutorials are really great and you explain them very good. Keep it up pls :)

  • @IxamusMC Cheers dude i will continue to make them even better :)

  • This is just awsome for my world buddy! Thank you very much for this tutorial.

  • @Keralis NP buddy :) Whens the next LP ?

  • @xisumavoid One borning lets build a nightclub is uploading now, we are making some toilets and that is just so damn boring but had to be done and the lp will be out tomorrow or later during the night.

  • @Keralis I doubt it's boring, if your building, its interesting :)

  • Are you going to be making an updating EXP Farm video for 1.1?

  • @eXploit1080 Yes :) Its in the works!

  • @xisumavoid.

Iw tried to build this station on my server. and made 3 moduls of it. but at the end of the row. one of the lines wont work. it keeps resetting itself when i press the button.

    Can you help me?

  • @turnipps Double check all wiring and repeater directions and settings :)

  • Just found your videos. They're exactly what I have been looking for. Great videos!

  • @Jamesanglo Thanks dude :)

  • haha BdoubleO needs to see this.

  • @EgoKllR54 Spread the word! :)

  • You make really nice tutorials, i've been dying for one for minecart stations, as i'm actually making one atm.

There weren't really any up-to-date tutorials on this, so thank you!

  • @MrNitteberg NP buddy :) Glad i helped!

  • Just when I think I've built all of the stuff I need on my server you come out with something more!

  • @gunnagitcha It will keep coming don't you worry :)

  • your getting good at these tuts xisumavoid! pause button.. red and white wool... just like a pro! (shame I can't keep up in minecraft.. :¬D)

  • @Samji3877 Cheers dude :) Do you try and build at the same time then? I always imagine people watching and pausing a lot... :)

  • @xisumavoid yep I have it paused to draw out the scematics on excel, sometimes i can't see your addons (in your animal breeding you connected the parts with redstone that I couldn't see from quite the right angle) and pause it if your build is to big for a drawing (such as this one with the decorative bits an bobs)

Bit annoying that if I work during the night cycle fending off creepers, endermen will sneak round the back and nick the soil allowing the sheep to escape!

  • These are really well made tutorials. Your diction is clear, the flow of the work is smooth. The red/white is great. Just all together wonderful.

Thanks for making these, hope you're enjoying your minecraft time!

  • @trondaron Yes i love doing this :) Thanks for the feedback! :)

  • cool love it but im to lazy

  • @jjp600 lol JP :)

  • this is a lot more simple than my station, really good design

  • @runci14 Thanks :)

  • "moincra-" ah nvm

  • @TheRealBulluk lol, i really don't think it was that bad this time ;)

  • Thanks, very nice tutorial :)

  • @ILiamgv np dude :)

  • This is CNBs Minecart station .... -.-

  • @Ghossteffect Did he ever say that he made it himself?

  • @lsrwLuke I never say that, In minecraft, someone else has always done it before you :)

  • @Ghossteffect I'm not surprised he has made it, but i can't watch all his videos!

  • i love ur vioce :D its overchilling :D

  • @NicktheAmericanGuy Overchilling :) i likes it! How about some chillax? :P cheers buddy

  • I can always count on you to make a great tutorial :)

  • @minecart3 Cheers buddy :)

  • Great tutorial and system, mate, thanks!

I'll be building that on the Crater City server I think. We desperately need a system for or underground railroad.

If I do I'll send you a link with the video, if you are interested. Keep up the good work.

  • @Fallaron Oh yea ill be sure to check that out dude :) Good luck with the build! :)
