I see you still have the problem of getting the water to splash realistically. Your's tends to stick together more than it should.

the fluid sims here look above houdini. the tracer rainbow really shows the sim. wow. is the name of the custom software a secret?

first correct weight simulation i ever saw, (with tose metal gears).
in most cases its always had a insuficent of mass, or if weight is overtwisted had magneto effect.
so good for you, its nice.

AFAIK it's custom software. But you can model this system easily with Houdini.

One question: why did the lead and wood fly toward each other? the rest seemed like normal gravity tests. surprised me a bit.

They just animated them like that, and then let the physics take its course after that.
in 3 years we find this normal in any modern game :O i cant believe it
