  • great collection, i just got a nes in my collection!

  • ah yes. my childhood self entertainment. good old times. after i got my 1st pc tho, my mom sold my NES to my friend for petty money. but a few years ago i managed to download an emulator and nearly all the games i played back then :) getting it all back in original form doesn't intrest me much, as i enjoy the games in an emulator all the same, but a true collector might be intrested in "a solid piece of old times"

  • got any xbox 360 games for sale?

  • Hey, can I ask why you sold those games? It was your collection, you can do whatever you wanted with them, but I just needed to ask that.

  • IVE GOT AN NES LOT FOR SALE ON EBAY!!! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO!! THANKS

  • Well for being such a collector you sure suck at Mario Brothers 1

  • @SKSBanetek Ha! I was wondering how many people would think that. Unfortunately, when running the games through my video capture system, the displayed video is delayed by about a second. It's amazing how hard it is to play a game with delayed video.

  • man i would of never of gotten rid of my nes collection.....why!!!

  • how much for the doll house?

  • Wow.. sorry for asking but how much was it to ship out? That must of been a pain....

  • If I remember correctly, it cost about $600 to ship the whole thing.

  • U spent 15 years collecting then sold them? Couldent even watch the whole vid. To sad to know it's all going to be sold to sombody that's not me :(

  • you sold your collection for 4001 dollars and the video has 4001 views, lol.

  • Have you ever regretted selling all of those games? I myself would NEVER sell any of my games. Not even if I was starving.

  • You're crazy for selling them!

  • ok what do u guys know about 5 screw nes games there suppose to be more rare

the other nes game made after wards came with 3 screws

  • somebody got a steal I think, who ever bought this for $4000, I mean 700 nes games all of the manuals and boxes, the systems, and accessories, but I am happy for you Dan, and a little jealous of the person who bought all of this stuff, lol.

  • If you don't mind me asking are these sold yet?, and how much did you sell them for? thanx

  • I sold them October of 2009 for $4001.

  • Sorry im from the UK whats $4,001 in GBP thanks

  • @MrNintendocollecter Thats about 2,500 GBP man

  • Thanks mate

  • @ThatGuyARH wow thts alot of money lol

  • @danBhentschel Out of curiousity. What did you need the money for?

  • you may not play these now, and be tired of them now, and may not think you 'need' them... but you should keep them! you spent all that time collecting them to have them, not to sell!!! and plus... when you're like 70 years old and retired and bored you're going to want to play this simple fun stuff, but won't be able to anymore! sheesh.

  • man your nes collection is sick, sux you have to get rid of them though. I actually am trying to assemble every nes game made, I am at about 360 nes games (nothing like your collection) but I am not made of money so I buy cheap lots off ebay and games st second hand stores and pawn shops, and play and trade, right now im working on getting a few off of craigslist. I'm sure this has been sold already. But this would have been nice to afford. lol good luck man.

  • k so your gettin rid of all these why?

  • I made a video explaining why. Go to my profile page to see it.

  • I should say this right now: Don't Sell all of them at all. keep them with you. treasure them dude! You will go nuts if you get rid of them! I'm begging you

  • Wow, now that's a collection!

  • i still have alot of my old systems still. i still have my super nes, genesis, sega cd, n64,ps2, xbox and gamecube and the older game boys....i also have alot of games for each but i too see it as pointless to buy all these games nowadays especially since you can buy them for dirt cheap in compilation discs

  • I'm a very big fan of Nintendo. I also collect games, and I think this is really cool what you're doing....but...I have to ask...why are you doing this? My heart is breaking seeing you sell your collection. Do you have a terminal illness? Because that's the only sense this would make to me (Just kidding about the terminal illness...just don't understand this decision. Also if anyone here has a terminal illness...yes I know..I know I'm going to hell.)

  • Well, as should be expected, it's a combination of things, but the biggest reason is that my life has changed significantly since I started this collection, and it no longer makes sense. I now have three children, and I spend the majority of my time on family-related things. It takes up a lot of space. It's very valuable, but I get very little benefit out of it. I will continue to play NES games, but on the Wii Virtual Console. :-) That is much better suited to my current lifestyle.

  • Nice stuff, must be tough to let the collection go. I liked the music you played in the video such as the The Advantage, they make some great NES covers. Good luck with all the sales.

  • Cool! I was wondering if anyone would recognize The Advantage. Kudos to you!

  • plus i have over 300 nes games

  • I have an nes list that lists almost 800 nes games that i printed off of the internet

  • dude there werent even 700 made theres like 300

  • Sorry, but you've been misinformed. Search for "List of Nintendo Entertainment System games" on Wikipedia. It lists 794 games. Take a look at the link that I include in my video. I have not only a list of all my games, but photographs of each one as well. I've spent over 30 hours so far cleaning and testing. Trust me. There's 700+ games in this collection.

  • k my bad so what is the price RANGE for these

  • how much are you selling all of your NES games for???????????? i WILL buy it!

  • It's a bit early to be advertising a price, don't you think? I haven't even finished cleaning and testing all the games yet! The auction won't be until the end of September. Keep your eyes open for more videos leading up to the event.

  • Why can't you sell them in packs of 10-25 games per auction so it will be affordable for everyone and everyone gets a chance? Most people can't afford to spend $4000 on 750 video games. This way people can pick what games they want.

  • I think I explained that in the video. :-) I have spent so much time and effort on putting this together as a collection that I would like to sell it that way. It will also be easier to manage one auction rather than 80. You may be right. Perhaps no one will be able to afford it. If that's the case, then I will split it up and sell the games separately.

  • because my birthdays around that time

  • if i have the money i might buy it pending on the price

  • This is no joke! I've personally seen Dan's collection, and he's been working on the cleaning/testing process for a while now.
