Fall is the best time on the Chain. All of the drunk rich kids in high performance boats have packed it in for the season. If you stay between the buoys on Grass Lake you shouldn't hit bottom.
@Canam7 - no buoys to stay between on Grass Lake; it has center channel markers instead. So you are supposed to stay to the right of the center channel.
I took my boat on the chain once. I am kinda leery of it cuz I don't no the chain at all. The 1st time out I was on grass lake and bottomed out and bent my prop on my new 22' Larson. :( Any suggestions on where else I can launch from? Lake Geneva is nice and clean but gets small after awhile.
ahhh perfact no traffic..
