I love this amp... how different do you think it sounds than a VOX AC30? Nice song!!

@elear10 its an entirey different animal. It has a much wider frequency response, and certainly more bottom end. I love it, very different to an AC30 which is amazing considering the circuit is so close. But different comonents, transfomers, speakers all go towards making a completely different amp

Fabulous. Simmilar in tone to the Chieftan but i think sweeter sounding. Sounds like Rusty Anderson & McCartney.

Hi, the Tele is a custom shop 62 nos but the body was swapped for one from usa custom guitars. I have since put it back to original but this was fun to try.

The tape delay is a hiwatt custom tape echo, my favourite delay evet, but they stopped making them a couple of years ago.

yeah, not cheap, but worth every penny if the sound floats your boat. After this amp shootout i took the plunge and bought one. Haven't looked back, truly fabulous amps.

Original Matchless speaker and Fender PU's except the neck pu which is a done mare telly sport.

just wondering how much your King of Tone colors the sound, as it's in every lineup....

they all sound great, though, with the Tele, but what would it sound like without the KOT?

Hi mate, The KoT is swithed in using TheGigRig Pro-14 so it's only on when you see its name appear on the screen. In every clip you do hear the amps on their own.

I guess everyone should know that this is now my main amp. I bought the HC30 with reverb and it's divine. For bigger gigs I use it in conjunction with the Two-Rock Jet. Between those 2 I will never need another amp (yet can't briong myself to part with my old Voxes)
