People are complaining about wow sucking now is not because cataclysm ruined it, it's because they are tired of the same old shit that the other expansions brought out. This is gonna sound stupid but i used to troll about panda people and pokemon in the upcoming expansion, but then i looked up more about it, and realized something "Hey isn't this something completely different than anything blizzard has done before?" People enjoy things that are new and fresh to the game. Mop will do that.
@Dragonmace1000 I don't think anything will change. Boring game mechanics will still be in game, untouched. When MMORPG allows you to solo most of things it's just ORPG :) Pokemons? At first fresh and kinda cool, later it will be same grind as pvp/pve. Pandas are just another race to level up same class characters. Noting fresh here. I'm going to try MoP anyway, when it'll be at least 50% off sale.
@DonCogo Yes true but in my opinion, bringing in a neutral race(something that hasn't been done before) and a new class, will make the game feel different, along with the fact that were going to have more PVP, new character skins, and dungeon scenarios.. If Blizzard manages to fuck all those awesome things up with all the money they have, then we can all quit wow and resort to some other game to rule our miserable lives.

As with what the other critisims' say, there are a tad too many voice clips, and some don't seem to work. However, that last one, 1:34 That one works the best out of all the soundclips you used. The sound clip rises along with the music quite well, and the whole 'smashing the title on the screen' works in conjunction with 'I...AM...THE CATACLYSM!!" CRASH! TITLE!

@ColonelRashid True, though it doesn't change the fact that it was anti-climatic. It is possible to be mad and epic at the same time. (to us at least) Infact it would have been really powerful if we saw Deathwing slowly lose the ability to form clear sentences as the fight goes on. Like the epic speech degrading into something like "I...am.....Death......wing.......End....all....Cata...clysm..." it would have added the impact that he is now nothing more than an mindless elemental monstrosity.
@deliquenme I wasn't saying WoW's graphics are amazing, compared to MMOs like Rift WoW's graphics are pitiful. However you need to understand that WoW NEEDS to be able to run on almost anything, that is why so many people play it, because they can play it. Blizzard probably could update the graphics immensely, but if they were to do so they would risk losing millions of subs due to them being suddenly unable to play WoW.
@theopeneyes I guess you are right but i don't understand why all the fuzz for a cheap looking, no combat system in a game that combat is most important because you have to fight almost anything that comes in your way and many other flaws, even Metin2, a game with even worst graphics, has a better gameplay and one of the best combat systems, if your sword touches multiple mobs they all get damage, the combos are realistic and it does not take forever to swing your weapon at an enemy.

@nimsu1987 I'm glad my revision has that effect on you! Though I agree I think Blizzard needs to employ people, not specifically me but someone they can bring into their team who has passion for it. I think that's what's been missing in Cata this entire time, it's not raid content or class balance but the passion from the team, the passion that made warcraft - WARCRAFT.

It's things like this that remind me how uber powerful Deathwing really is. He obliterated half a continent with the flare of his wings. The Lich King could only command armies of scourge that were powerful only in number. It took every ounce of power from four dragon aspects (given their power from the titans themselves) to defeat him. He is defiantly the strongest foe to set foot on Azeroth, and is only a few leagues below Sargeras
@Shadowrushbrony I agree, however Blizzard was TERRIBLE with Deathwing in Cata, we barely saw him and when we did it wasn't anything important or did anything infront of us that made us want to kill him. The best example of how Blizzard badly handled Deathwing in Cata is compare him to how he is in the Opening Cinematic last year and then compare him to how he is in the Dragon Soul cutscenes. That's like turning the Lich King into Buddy when ICC rolled around... "Frostmourne hun-oh a shiney!"
@theopeneyes I agree, they could have done much better in drawing us in to Deathwing. In Wrath you see the LK everywhere, you finish a quest and he kills the quest giver, pushes you off a mountain, and laughs at how weak you are. I wanted to destroy that guy. To be honest, I wanted to kill Ragnaros more than Deathwing. I really loved the Firelands patch trailer and all the questing. The raid itself was amazing too; there were so many new boss dynamics.
@Shadowrushbrony Many leagues below Sargeras, remember sargeras is just as strong or stronger than the members of pantheon and they gave a ounce of their power to the dragon aspects. The only reason Deathwing was stronger than the other aspects was because they all gave him power to create the dragon soul while he didn't give it any power.

@jmastersam It's the Well of Eternity instance, we travel back in time to take the Dragon Soul (the gold disc thing) from that time to use it against Deathwing in the present. Also the pit lord is Mannoroth who was responsible for the Blood Curse on the Orcs, you can see the remains of his weapon in Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale.

Dragon Soul raid.. was trash it was horrible and tooooo easy. my guild downed the whole thing the first day it was release. really Black Temple was the last greatest end game content ever made. not even ICC was that crazy SWTOR is good so far. now we need to see if it has potential to keep up up to 7+ more years like wow. blizzard just needs to fix wow more. specially the character creation i hope that gets a good revamp.
@DroAlmonte2986 I do admit Blizzard has been...lax in their efforts with Cata, it pains me to see such potential go to waste like Cata has been. It had a great start but something happened along the way and this is the result, I personally feel it's cause Blizzard is stretching their resources too much with; Diablo 3, SC2:Heart of the Swarm, Cata, MoP and Project Titan. That is a lot of stuff for a game company to be working on in basically one year, and so they need to hire more people.

Sigh, SWTOR nor GW will never be able to surpass WoW. Or maybe they will in few years, but by the time Diablo 3 and maybe even Titan is out and those will rock your GW2 and SWTOR big time. Ok, I get it. To be honest, I wanted to kill Ragnaros more than Deathwing. I really loved the Firelands patch trailer and all the questing. The raid itself was amazing too; there were so many new boss dynamics.

@Shadowrushbrony Many leagues below Sargeras, remember sargeras is just as strong or stronger than the members of pantheon and they gave a ounce of their power to the dragon aspects. The only reason Deathwing was stronger than the other aspects was because they all gave him power to create the dragon soul while he didn't give it any power.

@jmastersam It's the Well of Eternity instance, we travel back in time to take the Dragon Soul (the gold disc thing) from that time to use it against Deathwing in the present. Also the pit lord is Mannoroth who was responsible for the Blood Curse on the Orcs, you can see the remains of his weapon in Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale.

Dragon Soul raid.. was trash it was horrible and tooooo easy. my guild downed the whole thing the first day it was release. really Black Temple was the last greatest end game content ever made. not even ICC was that crazy SWTOR is good so far. now we need to see if it has potential to keep up up to 7+ more years like wow. blizzard just needs to fix wow more. specially the character creation i hope that gets a good revamp.

@DroAlmonte2986 I do admit Blizzard has been...lax in their efforts with Cata, it pains me to see such potential go to waste like Cata has been. It had a great start but something happened along the way and this is the result, I personally feel it's cause Blizzard is stretching their resources too much with; Diablo 3, SC2:Heart of the Swarm, Cata, MoP and Project Titan. That is a lot of stuff for a game company to be working on in basically one year, and so they need to hire more people.

Perhaps WoW has lived and served, a game's lifetime, maybe. If it has, hell, it was a good time. It will live on, as the giant foundation for all future MMORPG games to come.
I still think it'll stick around, some people just like the style, though perhaps out dated, it's like counter-strike, people never stopped playing it.

@746452345457 Once again WoW didn't create that stuff. WoW's combat is no where near unique in itself. Not to mention combat is much different on Swtor. One big difference is that the skills have a global cooldown. You can't one shot someone in pvp. People are actually given a fair chance.
